With the Steam Game Festival, you can play demos of games that are not released yet. Unsurprisingly the number of promising titles is quite high.
The Steam Game Festival is here and we all get the opportunity to play games that are not released yet. Most of these titles plan a launch later in 2020 or 2021. For six days, from June 16 to 22. But that's not all. Game classics like Heavy Rain can also be played, perfect if you want to get a first impression of a game before buying it.
If you can't play the demo via the Steam action page, the best thing to do is to take a look at the Steam Shop. The offer should also apply there.
Which games & demos are available for free?
The games festival offers a huge selection of games, demos, and live stream events. Here are some game highlights:
- Drone Swarm
- Relicta
- Just Die Already
- DeMagnete
- Undungeon
- Everspace 2
- Destiny´s Sword
- Ostranautus
- Iron Harvest
- Ghostrunner
- Hazel Sky
- Riftbreaker
- Welcome to Elk
- Desperados III
- Ultrakill
- Haven
Steam of course knows the taste and the preferred playstyle or genre of each user, so it will recommend a different game based on your past experience. After all, over 900 games are available during the Game Festival! It's borderline impossible to try them all. Right?
Which releases are worthwhile?
The upcoming releases have of course been in our focus for a long time. We have already summarized the most important games that will be released in June.
We've also looked into PlayStation 5 and are eagerly looking forward to Gran Turisimo 7.
