This patch Riot Games has decided to buff and nerf some of our favourite Champions to try and even out the playing field for the upcoming 2020 World Championship. Some of our previous top picks haven fallen off the ladder, while others are back in the meta. We've listed some of the strongest champs this patch!
In this LoL tier list, we'll show you the best champions for each lane in relation to Patch 10.19. We especially focus on win rate and the carry potential because often, you will have to carry your teammates in the gap through the game. Today, we will take a look at the mid lane.
Don't play Mid Lane? We've got you covered:
Which Mid Laners Are Strong in LoL Patch 10.19?
5. Ahri (Win Rate: 51.7%)
Ahri has stayed steady in this patch as well, receiving another set of buffs. In the last Patch she received some quality of life buffs which let her access her movement speed buff with or without a target. This time around Riot reduced the mana cost of her W as well as the cooldown which makes her even stronger than she was before. Ahri’s kit has a lot of variation with waveclear, cc as well as mobility in it, making her a fun champion to play and makes it easy for you to outplay your opponent. One thing to watch out with her though is not to fall behind early, otherwise you won’t have enough damage in the late game to be impactful.
4. Sylas (Win Rate: 48.7%)
This Patch Sylas got his ultimate buffed by reducing the cooldown from 100 - 60 to 100 - 40. This will make a huge difference in the late game and will make your opponents think twice before picking specific champions, because the chance to have your ult stolen has just increased. Sylas has a bit of everything – cc, poke, sustain and mobility – integrated into his kit which makes him a great champion to play and his ultimate is always dangerous, since opponents will have to be wary of their own ultimates being used against them.
3. Kassadin (Win Rate: 51.8%)
Kassadin has once again made our list. His late-game carry potential is just too good to leave out. As we mentioned last patch, he might start off weak, but can snowball any composition in the late-game. His strengths lie in his high burst damage with which he can easily delete opponents off the map. His mobility is also insane and in any teamfight he can quickly access the enemies backline, take out their carry’s for the win.
2. Zed (Win Rate: 51.8%)
Zed is a classic assassin and has once again made it onto our list. He is insanely strong once again, especially thanks to his slippery maneuverability and just how well he roams. Zed loves to split push and is hard to hold down, his kit filled with mobility.
In teamfights he loves to get to the backline of the enemy team, much like Kassadin, to take out their carry’s and win the fight that way. So finding the perfect engage to sneak up and assassinate the opponent is key to winning games with him. Overall he is a high risk and high reward champion who will definitely help
1. Yone (Win Rate: 48.7%)
Even though his win rate isn’t the highest in the game, Yone is still the strongest current mid-laner. Most losses come from players picking him and not knowing how to work around his mechanics. His ban rates are also still through the roof and his aggressive playstyle with built-in mobility makes him extremely dangerous in any situation.
Yone has a high skill ceiling and is similar to champions like Ekko and Zed where perfectly executed outplays make you look like a mechanical god. His mixed damage can also be added into any team composition and makes him hard to itemize against. Building Phantom Dancer as a first item is key and will synergize well with his passive – Way of the Hunter to give him even more crit. Overall, if you can get your hands on Yone, you should definitely climb the ranks with him.
