The Support Role saw little change once more. There are multiple champions that are viable in the current meta. Riot did decide to change up a few things, like nerfing Lulu who has dominated the support role with a consistent win rate of almost 53% over the last few patches. Giving Braum a little boost was also part of Patch 10.20, but was it enough to bring him onto our list?

In this LoL tier list, we'll show you the best champions for each lane. We especially focus on win rate and the carry potential because you often have to carry your teammates in any given game. Today, we will take a look at the Support position.

Which Support Picks Are Strong in LoL Patch 10.20?

5. Morgana (Win Rate: 50.3%)

Morgana is a great pick up this patch. She synergizes extremely well with champions like Caitlyn and together they can poke anyone out of lane. She can root opponents down while Caitlyn merely has to aim and snipe. Her black shield also provides great protection against any cc and she herself has two forms of AoE hard crowd control. She is an aggressive support who loves to push lane.

4. Janna (Win Rate: 52.5%)

Janna fits perfectly with any ADC who is a lane bully. She loves to push forward in the laning phase. She can easily peel for her AD Carries with her abilities, since she has multiple stuns and slows in her kit, not to mention the added movement speed she provides, which just enables her lane partner to play as aggressive as they please without having the fear of being picked off.

3. Leona (Win Rate: 50.5%)

Leona has everything you need in a support. She lets you trade aggressively in lane and her kit has multiple stuns and slows. She is one of the strongest support champions of the meta. She is a strong engage support who will go in to start off any fight. She can also tank some damage, giving her AD Carry free rein to deal out some of their own damage. Leona is huge in teamfights, able to focus on opposing carries, stunning them up with her ultimate so your carry can take them out.

2. Lulu (Win Rate: 51.3%)

Lulu is a complete lane bully. She is able to help any ADC take over the early game, since she is able to keep them safe due to her shielding abilities. Sure, her W – Whimsy was nerfed and now gives less attack speed to her allies, but she is still insanely strong in the laning phase.

But she isn’t just huge in the laning phase. Her ultimate can be game deciding as well in a teamfight. She can cast it upon a tank front-lining, making them even beefier and stronger. They will be able to take even more damage, giving the backline carries time to dish out some of their own.

1. Pantheon (Win Rate: 48.1%)

This support pick has been making quite the stir. But slowly it has crept up the list and has become our top pick for this patch. Pantheon is able to solo-carry any lane. His early game sets him up to snowball, especially by dishing out damage left and right. His early game all-in threat always has to be respected by the opposition.

Once he hits level 6 and has his R up, he is also able to easily move into other lanes by using his semi-global ult. He can skirmish better than any other support. He is able to pressure the whole map. His point-and-click stun lets him be a threat in all game situations. Overall Pantheon is a solid support pick for anyone who wants to win lane and snowball that lead into a victory.
