Team Vitality have filled their fifth roster spot. The French team lost Alex “ALEX” McMeekin a couple of days ago but were fast on the market and immediately signed a replacement.
misutaaa joins Vitality
The new name on the French roster is Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier. If you hadn’t heard of the guy up till now, don’t blame your CS:GO knowledge. Vitality draft misutaaa out of the lower levels of the French scene, betting on the 17-year-old’s potential. The youngster has just two LAN events behind his back at which he was able to show enough to raise Vitality’s interest.
Another issue that popped up due to ALEX’s departure was resolved in the meantime. Dan “apEX” Madesclaire confirmed that he will be taking over the in-game leader role left vacant by the British player. The choice was split between apEX and Richard “shox” Papillon, but as we hinted at yesterday, shox’s unwillingness to IGL at the current time resulted in his teammate becoming captain.
Vitality will have exactly ten days to find their groove with the new lineup. Their next appearance is going to be at the start of ESL Pro League Season 11 on March 16. Vitality were drawn in one of the tougher groups alongside Astralis, Ninjas in Pyjamas, ENCE Esports, GODSENT, and Sharks Esports.
Following an early exit at IEM Katowice and a roster change, apEX and co. are under substantive pressure to improve fast. The French scene can be turbulent at times and a bad showing in the ESL Pro League might bring more quakes to Team Vitality’s roster and/or in-game roles.
