Once again we receive new changes on the beta server of WoW Shadowlands. The GCD was removed from almost all offensive abilities. Which exactly these are and what changes this brings, you can find out here!
Can you even control your hype until we can finally enter the afterlife of Azeroth and see familiar friends, enemies, and heroes again? We feel the same way - especially since Blizzard seems to want to get it right in the upcoming expansion. For WoW Shadowlands, the company really takes community feedback to heart.
Not only has various random factors been removed from the Legendaries obtain system and Loot system, Blizzard is now also changing the concept of global cooldown, or GCD for short.
Our Call was Answered!
Let's be honest, having to press three different buttons before you finally start dealing damage to a boss was neither fun nor satisfying in any way. Using or activating our strongest abilities was rather annoying, and for example the "wings" of the paladin were not supposed to work like that.
Now Blizzard has reacted and tinkered with the GCD of various abilities and classes. Here we have a list for you:
Death Knight
- Pillar of Frost
- Empower Rune Weapon
Druid
- Berserk
- Incarnation for all specs.
Jäger
- Aspect of the Wild
Magier
- Arcane Power
- Icy Veins
Mönch
- Serenity
Paladin
- Avenging Crusader
- Avenging Wrath
- Crusade
- Holy Avenger
Priester
- Spirit Shell
Schurke
- Adrenaline Rush
- Shadow Blades
- Vendetta
Schamane
- Ancestral Guidance
Hexenmeister
- Dark Soul
Krieger
- Avatar
- Recklessness
No matter what class you play, the gameplay should feel much more fluid and satisfying with Shadowlands. For our part, we're very pleased that Blizzard has made the changes to the GCD and the abilities listed above - now we just want to get more fun!
Less than two months, then WoW Shadowlands will finally be released and we can explore the realms of the dead. To get you in the mood until then, check out the series of short films that Blizzard has produced especially for the four realms.
