Every week we bring you the latest player transfers and roster moves from the world of esports. Astralis is struggling hard at the moment after a second player takes a break due to health reasons.
Astralis are happy with their 5+ roster, 100 Thieves find a new coach and with Shernfire, who returns to his old team, the LoL-scene is doing something again.
CS:GO: Another big move at Astralis
Astralis: xyp9x on leave
Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander left the Astralis roster two weeks ago due to illness and was replaced by JUGi. Now another player is doing the exact same thing. Andreas "Xyp9x" Højsleth, the Clutch Minister is now also leaving the team indefinitely.
Get well, Andreas. We will miss you inside and outside of the server, but health comes first. Always.See you soon enough, Clutch Minister
— Astralis Counter-Strike (@AstralisCS) May 28, 2020
Astralis announced shortly afterward that he will be replaced by Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer until Xyp9x recovers. Burnout seems to be a more serious topic in esports than previously thought and Astralis had already increased their roster with JUGi and es3tag for exactly this reason. For all those who wonder whether Snappi will stay with Astralis for a longer period of time, he made it clear that he will only fill in for Xyp9x as a stand-in until he is fit again.
Just to make it clear, i will only stand-in for Blast and Dreamhack while @Xyp9x recover. Hopefully i can soon enough reveal more about what my upcoming team will be. But for now, it's time to shoot some headshots and try to copy the clutch minister as good as i can!

100 Thieves: ImAPet joins as coach
The former coach of Evil Geniuses, Chet "ImAPet" Singh will coach 100 Thieves in the foreseeable future.
Welcome @ImAPet1 as our new CS:GO Head Coach!Chet has been coaching CS:GO at the highest level for over 4 years now and has strong track record of both developing teams & winning championships. We're excited to bring his experience to 100 Thieves to lead our team! #100T pic.twitter.com/gdHSeiECb9
— 100 Thieves (@100Thieves) May 26, 2020
Singh is best known for helping Evil Geniuses achieve their greatest successes. Last month, it was suddenly announced that he was leaving EC. As it turned out, there were several problems between the coach and the two players stanislaw and tarik, which eventually led to Singh's dismissal. 100 Thieves recently parted ways with their coach Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović, so what could be more obvious than bringing NA-brain ImAPet on board? The future will show whether he can help 100 Thieves achieve the same success as EG did. We keep our fingers crossed.

Copenhagen Flames: HECTOz is in
After Asger "Farlig" Jensen left the team and joined GODSENT, Hector "HECTOz" Jensen completes the roster of the Copenhagen Flames.

HECTOz was the last to represent Wygers, but he only played for two months before joining the Danes. He is best known for his time with AGF, where he won the POWER League Season 13 alongside HooXi.
LDLC: bodyy, afroo sign up
Alexandre "bodyy" Pianaro and Aurélien "afroo" Drapier complete the LDLC roster.
It's official: @afro_csgo joins the team and @G2bodyy comes back to play for us.The whole team welcomes them ! pic.twitter.com/mkCAMdsbft
— LDLC OL GB (@LDLC_OL_eng) June 1, 2020
After last week Logan "LOGAN" Corti and Kilian "Gringo" Garcia were put on the bench, the team is now complete again. Bodyy used to play for LDLC before he switched to G2 and is now back again. In any case, we wish the Frenchmen good luck.
League of Legends
T1: Gori leaves
The replacement mid-lane Kim "Gori" Tae-woo leaves T1 and is a Free Agent from now on.

We thank him for his commitment so far and wish him all the best.#T1WIN #T1Fighting pic.twitter.com/id98zxznQ4
— T1 LoL (@T1LoL) June 1, 2020
Gori had been working as a replacement mid-laner for Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok at T1 since 2018. His position will now be filled by 16-year old Lee "Closer" Ju-hyeon. However, since Gori learned from the best at T1, we aren't really worried about his future. He won't have any trouble finding a new team.
Dire Wolves: Shernfire is back
Shern "Shernfire" Cherng Tai returns to the Dire Wolves as a coach.
I will be remote coaching from Korea still continuing to practice in soloq for the remainder of the year https://t.co/zXlya62XfB
— C9 Shernfire (@shernfire) June 1, 2020
Shernfire began his career with the Dire Wolves in 2014 before leaving them to play for various NA teams, including as a junior for Team Liquid. In the future, according to his Twitter post, he will coach his original team from Korea and continue to train in solo queue. It remains to be seen if this is the end of his competitive career. We wish him success with the Dire Wolves.
Evil Geniuses: Huni joins
EG bring a new top laner to the team with Heo "Huni" Seung-hoon.
We have added a new member to the Evil Geniuses family, one that's well versed in top-place finishes.Welcome, @Huni! Let's get ready to #LIVEEVIL | Presented by @WebullGlobal pic.twitter.com/ZIZMNIfyGA
— Evil Geniuses (@EvilGeniuses) May 28, 2020
Huni is one of the top earners in LoL and has traveled a lot. He has played for several NA teams - until recently for Dignitas - but has also had some success with Fnatic in Europe. His greatest achievement to date was with SK Telecom T1, now just T1, when he defeated G2 Esports in MSI 2017. Will he bring the geniuses to the top?
Dignitas: JayJ replaces Olleh
Dignitas have acquired Juan "JayJ" Guibert to replace Kim "Olleh" Joo-sung and complete their Summer Split roster.
Our Summer Split roster is complete. Welcome @JayJLoL to Dignitas! pic.twitter.com/fniKpyVwKs
— Dignitas (@dignitas) June 1, 2020
The former FlyQuest-Academy support is thus the second support in the Dignitas roster besides Zaqueri "aphromoo" Black. After getting seventh place DIG had just missed the qualification for the 2020 Spring Split Playoffs.
Dota 2: B8 drops two after bad streak
B8: Xcalibur and LeBronDota released
After a series of disappointing results, B8 releases Steve "Xcalibur" Ye and Nikola "LeBronDota" Popovic.
@LeBronDoTa and @XcaliburYe leave B8 rosterWe are very grateful to them for the path traveled together and wish them excellent results in the future! GL #b8d pic.twitter.com/If6RR6ezYQ
— B8 (@B8esportsGG) May 26, 2020
Dendi did not have an easy start with his new team B8. Right at the beginning, they had a hard time finding players, followed by rather mediocre results and now a record of 24 defeats in a row. In order to get the team back on track, some changes are now being made to the roster. Nothing is known yet about who will replace Xcalibur and LeBronDota, but with Cooman, Daxak, Afoninje, and Gibkiy being free agents there are some likely options available.
