100 Thieves have completed their Valorant team with the addition of former Immortals players Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk and Quan “diceyzx” Tran.
Valorant was officially released on June 2 and less than a week later 100 Thieves started building their line up. On June 6, the team signed Spencer "Hiko" Martin, a famous CS:GO player who retired from Valve’s shooter to focus on Valorant. A couple of weeks later, 100 Thieves signed four more players, coming from a PUBG background - Keane "Valliate" Alonso, Zachary "Venerated" Roach, Diondre "YaBoiDre" Bond, and Alfred "Pride" Choi. Sadly the team failed to live up to expectations, and everyone, except Hiko, was released in August.
In the same month, 100 Thieves signed, Nicholas "nitr0" Cannella, another famous and very successful CS:GO player who just retired to switch to Valorant. The next addition came in September with another CS:GO pro - Joshua "steel" Nissan. With the new additions, the team had a total of three members and two were still missing. That was resolved this Friday when 100 Thieves announced the final two to join the squad.
Asuna and Diceyzx Join 100 Thieves
If you’ve been following the Valorant pro scene in the last few months the names should be quite familiar. Both Peter “Asuna” Mazuryk and Quan “diceyzx” Tran played for Immortals. They left the former on October 2 and joined 100 Thieves on the same day. It was without a doubt a transfer between the two organizations.
Excited to announce the final two members of 100 Thieves VALORANT: Asuna & Dicey! With that, we have rounded out our competitive VALORANT roster:@Hiko@JoshNissan@nitr0@Asunaa@diceyzxTime to grind! #100T pic.twitter.com/vjJbbWh4c5

The two players are rather young as both are 17 years old. Asuna has played CS:GO in the past before making the switch to Valorant. Diceyzx, on the other hand, is one of the few pro players to have only played Valorant and nothing else. Despite that, he’s considered to be one of the top pros in Riot’s tactical shooter and it’s no coincidence 100 Thieves decided to take him.
The squad is now complete and it consists of 4/5 former CS:GO players. As we’ve mentioned previously that’s usually a recipe for success if G2’s success in Europe is any indication. 100 Thieves have now completed their roster and we can’t wait to see them in action. Regional qualifiers for First Strike will start in the second half of October, so the newly formed team will have some time to get proper synergy going.
