Did somebody say gun skins? Yes, Riot Games gave the Valorant community hints about what fancy cosmetics could be in development - and every shooter's heart beats faster. In their May 18 post, "The Craft and Fantasy of Valorant Weapon Skins", the developers gave more details about the process of turning weapon skin ideas into reality. They repeated many of the same ideas from last week's post about a "gameplay-first approach" to weapons - and this time it was about cosmetic adjustments. In short, we'll soon have fancy designs that will allow us to enjoy chasing our enemies across Haven, Split and Bind.

A well-placed photo in the middle of the Riot release was looked at with eagle eyes by some fans and there is now speculation about what themes the future skin designs might have.

The labels written on the stickers have been thoroughly analyzed by fans like Reddit user 'Entertain_the_Sheep', revealing possible names like Instrumental / DJ, WWII / Alternate History, Viking and others.

Riot Games' producer, Preeti Khanolkar, responded to the list of decoded names by announcing the possibilities for players to influence the type of skins that could make it into Valorant:

"I don't confirm or deny that these are all sorts of ideas (or whether you've correctly deciphered the scribbled text on these stickers :D), but which of these ideas do you find most exciting?".

Although these are only brainstorming concepts, the Valorant Premium Content Team creates new products that appeal to players to make them choose the proposed design.

Now that people have understood what the team is thinking, Preeti opens up the possibility of getting direct feedback from people, which can have a huge impact on the success or failure of a particular skin. The developers outlined the lengthy process of designing and creating a weapon skin within Valorant that will make it into the game if enough players agree. It's still up in the air whether we'll actually get skins that revolve around themes such as Wilderness, Horror, Comic/Classic Animation, and Fast and Furious, but there will certainly be players who crave them.

With Valorant still in beta and many more changes to come, players should take advantage of this kind of opportunity to flood the developers with valuable feedback before the game is officially released in the summer of 2020. However, the constant exchange between Riot and the community already promises a lot!
