A new mode coming to Battlefield 2042 could be an absolute game-changer. In a move that's bound to win the hearts of hardcore Battlefield fans, the developers are bringing a new mode to the franchise that features remastered maps, and older vehicles and weapons from the series. According to the infamous battlefield insider Tom Henderson, this new mode is designed from the ground up as a fun sandbox experience. It's not designed to be competitive or groundbreaking, it's a love letter to the community. And one we're sure will be met with raucous applause.

The Battlefield website has redacted the name of the mode but offers a small description, while Tom Henderson gave more specific details over stream.To start with, here's what the official website says about the mode:

- Battlehub is designed as a sort of party–mode, purely for fun
- It will feature vehicles and weapons from different Battlefield games

When Will We Know More About Battlefield 2042's Battlehub?
More details have been guaranteed for the EA Play Live event coming July 22 - and we think this could be a real ace up the sleeve for EA, so expect it to get a lot of attention alongside Hazard Zone. Of course, if Tom Henderson leaks more information, we'll keep you updated.
