Things are really starting to heat up in the world of Battlefield 2042. We're edging closer and closer to the full release, alpha playtesting is ongoing, and now fans are asking the more practical questions. One such question EA Play members have to ask: will Battlefield 2042 be on EA Play?
Will Battlefield 2042 Be On EA Play?
No, Battlefield 2042 will not be freely available with EA Play. But that said, it's not like you aren't getting anything:
EA Play members (including Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers) will have early access to Open Beta and a 10-hour trial of Battlefield 2042 starting on October 15, 2021.
Obviously, EA Play members wanted me to bring better news but 10 hours is still a solid demo, and perhaps even more importantly it means you can be one of the very first people to try the game during the Open Beta. Hell, they re might even be players who buy EA Play for a month for that reward alone.

We personally think that if you are going to pre-order, you won't get enough added value to justify getting either the Gold or Ultimate edition (and we explain why here), but whatever version you want it'll set you back at least 60 dollars. Here are the full prices:

Look it's expensive but we're getting into the swing of the next-gen life-cycles, so it's fair enough in 2021.
