After a turbulent Beta experience, some fans get to experience Battlefield 2042 another time before its release on November 19, 2021. Yes, some fans get to test out and play the upcoming shooter before its actually out.

Those of you who have EA Play – and an Xbox Game Pass – can test out 10-hours of Battlefield 2042 gameplay early. This will also include those who have Game Pass PC and EA Play Pro on PC.

When Is The 10-Hour Trial of Battlefield 2042?

The 10-hour free trial of Battlefield 2042 is going to be taking place on November 12, 2021. Players will get to test out the game once more, which is crucial, especially after the criticism the developers received after the open Beta.

EA has tried to calm down the fanbase by explaining that much of what was seen and played during the Beta was an older version of the game. By that point, much had already been adjusted and changed within the development of Battlefield 2042.

This 10-hour offer for EA Play and Gamepass subscribers runs alongside those who have already pre-ordered the Gold or Ultimate editions of Battlefield 2042. But while those who have pre-ordered the game get to experience Battlefield before the official release, the Game Pass and EA Play players will only receive a 10-hour sneak peek into the game.

What is Battlefield 2042 Portal Mode?

A new mode was also introduced by EA, wherein players are able to go back to Battlefield classics to enjoy them all over again, like Battlefield 1942 and Battlefield: Bad Company 2. In this mode, old maps will be included to bring back the perfect nostalgia for any Battlefield player.
