How To Fix Error Code 1302P?
Console
For console, this is much easier than PC, luckily. For both Xbox and PlayStation, almost all user seem to have had success with a simple power cycle. Which is easy enough to do:
How to Power Cycle on PlayStation
- Hold down the PlayStation Power Button until you hear two beeps.
- Unplug the console power cord.
- Wait 10 seconds, and then plug the console back in.
- Restart the PlayStation.
How to Power Cycle on Xbox
- Press and hold the Xbox Power Button for 10 seconds.
- After the console is completely turned off, pull out the power cable.
- Wait a moment and plug the cable back in.
- Restart the Xbox.
PC
For PC, things get more complicated, and the solution seems far less certain, with some users reporting success and others left dumbfounded. There are a number of ways to fix this on PC. Here is a checklist of possible solutions, try each and test connecting to Battlefield 2042 before moving on to the next possible solution:
- If you're on Origin, delete the file named ‘igo64.dll’ from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin.
- Ensure that Battlefield 2042 isn't being blocked by Windows Defender Firewall.
- Turn off your VPN if you are using one.
- Disable crossplay in Battlefield 2042 from the main menu setting.
- Delete and redownload Battlefield 2042 on either Steam or Origin.
