Battlefield Mobile. Yep, it's a thing, and it's coming sooner than you think. We've heard about it for a few months, but now footage of the game has leaked online. Let's check it out, shall we?

Have you played Call of Duty: Mobile? You've surely seen it. Because it's huge right now. Especially around the world, in areas where consoles and high-end PCs are harder to come by. And to be fair, even for a mobile game, it looks quite impressive. It's also great fun (except for the sweats who use keyboard and mouse to gain an advantage on mobile players - yes, these people actually exist). It's no wonder then that EA wants to enter the mobile space.

To be clear, this isn't the first time we've heard of Battlefield Mobile. The game isn't a secret; EA has admitted they're working on it. And they probably want to push it this year because it's likely to be such a good year for their brand with Battlefield 2042's release. So, shall we have a look at how good this game looks?

Footage of Battlefield Mobile

The following clips were uploaded first to Reddit. This first one shows us a Conquest game on the map Grand Bazaar, so we know they're keeping with the 'classic' Battlefield formula.

This next clip gives us a look at the attachment system, which truly impressed us for it being a mobile game.

In this final clip of the game, we get to see some vehicle play, which we knew Battlefield fans were interested in seeing adapted for mobile.

Love keeping up with all things Battlefield? So do we:

When Is Battlefield Mobile Released?

Battlefield Mobile will be released in 2022. We don't, unfortunately, know an exact release date for Battlefield Mobile, but if it's at this stage of development already, then we're guessing it's released in the first half of 2022. We know the year is right because EA has said they're:

...developing a completely new Battlefield game bringing all-out warfare to smartphones and tablets in 2022.

For now, we will have to wait for more leaks to judge this game, but we're happy with what we've seen, certainly.
