Steam sales reliably make console players jealous. And this summer it's Battlefield, so don't miss out on the chance to pick up one of the older titles while they're 80% reduced. We've got all the details below.
With Battlefield 2042 on the horizon and all eyes fixed on the franchise, it's no wonder that we're seeing deals like this right now. So many players have been returning to Battlefield in recent weeks that EA have had to expand the Battlefield 4 server capacity. That's pretty incredible considering it's been eight years since the game's release. As they said in a recent blog post:
We were absolutely blown away by your excitement and reactions to the recent Battlefield 2042 reveal.Since then, many of you have jumped back into Battlefield 4 to already get a taste of the return to all-out-warfare. We’ve been monitoring your experience and noticed increased queue times for US West, US East and Europe regions compared to other regions. Good news, we’ve increased server capacity for this region – you can expect less waiting, and more playing.
If you too want a taste of the old Battlefield action, to relive those memories and get excited for 2042, then you need to jump on the current Steam sale.
How Cheap Is Battlefield In The Summer Steam Sale?
Battlefield V is $12.49, and Battlefield 1, 3 & 4 are all priced at $7.99 - all of these prices are for the ultimate edition of each game, so they come with the complete DLC. If you really want to put some time in this summer then you can spend $21.35 for every Battlefield game - that's pretty amazing for twenty dollars.
You see how they've quietly slipped the pre-order in here too, even though it's not on sale. Fair enough.
