A new mode is coming to Battlefield 2042 that could be a game-changer. It's called Battlehub, and it's a sandbox mode in which players can enjoy maps, weapons, and vehicles from across the entire Battlefield franchise. Here are the first maps being remastered for Battlehub. Don't worry, Shanghai made the cut. The infamous Battlefield insider Tom Henderson leaked the first maps confirmed for the Battlehub mode. These were all somewhat predictable; they're the most iconic maps from the franchise, and they're sure to win the hearts of veteran players. But enough babble from me, let's get to the leak.

Notice we said 'these are the maps being remastered first', so don't worry if you can't see your favorite map, we know that a lot more are expected throughout the game's life–cycle.

What Is Battlehub?
Battlehub is one of the new modes coming to Battlefield 2042. It will consist of multiplayer matches played on iconic maps, with remastered versions of guns and vehicles from across the franchise. So to be clear here, in the near future, you'll get to use a WWII-era weapon from BFV, while riding a horse from BF1 through the streets of BF4's Shanghai. Or some other bizarre time-hopping combination.
It sounds like such a good laugh, and it's one of the modes we're most excited to see. We thought we would have more information to share with you since EA's Future Of FPS show was just broadcast, but they remained tight-lipped and teased us with more information on July 22 instead. The main event of EA Play Live will occur on July 22, so it makes sense they're waiting until then to reveal more about this highly anticipated new experience.
