How do you feel about the Specialist system in Battlefield? It seems like it isn't going anywhere so we have to make our peace with it.
The Specialist system which will be coming in Battlefield 2042 hasn’t been met with too much support from the community. The developers have stayed true to their vision for their game though and aren’t budging on the specialist debate.
A few of these specialists have already been playable during the Beta, but more have been revealed. Who are the final five specialists that will make it into Battlefield 2042 upon release?
Who are the Five Specialists Revealed?
These are the final five Specialists who will be playable upon release of Battlefield 2042:

What Abilities Will the Specialists Have?
Constantin “Angel” Anghel
He is going to be a support specialist. His trait – Trauma Specialist means he is able to speed up the revival process of fallen teammates. Not only that, but they’ll be revived with full armor and health.
His Speciality Loadout Crate let’s him call in a drop with armor, ammo, and new loadouts for you and your teammates.
Ji-Soo Paik
She is perfect for anyone who needs some intel on the enemy team. Her trait – Threat Perception, will reveal any enemy who injured her.
She’s also able to spot enemies on the other side of the wall thanks to her EMG-X Scanner. So if you need some information on the enemies positioning, then you’ll likely want her on your team.
Emma “Sundance” Rosier
Emma can get you around the map quickly. She is an assault specialist who, thanks to her trait – Wingsuit, can move around the map quickly. This will make for unique and fun gameplay for sure.
Her specialty are Smart Explosives which lets you select between anti-armor, EMP, and scatter grenades on the fly.
Santiago “Dozer” Espinoza
He is also an assault specialist. Instead of getting around the map quickly though he can be used as a tank thanks to his trait – Blast Resistant which reduces damage of enemy explosives.
His specialty – SOB-8 Ballistic Shield protects you from incoming projectiles and gunfire. Seriously, if that doesn’t sound like a frontliner then I don’t know what else does.
Navin Rao
He is a recon specialist who is able to track down enemies thanks to his trait – Trojan Network. The ability will reveal enemies to him once one of them is killed.
His specialty Cyber Warfare Suite lets him hack enemy equipment as well as in-world objects like bollards. Someone in the development team seems to have been a big fan of Overwatch way back in the day, eh?
