They know what they're doing with trailers – needless to say, 2042's was phenomenal | © EA

The community waited for the Battlefield 2042 reveal and gameplay trailers with bated breath. Needless to say, they both massively delivered - now we're hyped. EA are famously good at producing a slick trailer, and music does a lot of the heavy lifting. Here's the soundtrack to both trailers, for those searching.

Say what you want about EA - and I do, frequently - but they know how to make a damn good trailer, who can forget the iconic BF1 trailers with remixes of the White Stripe's Seven Nation Army and Johnny Cash's God's Gonna Cut You Down. Those tracks were all part of that game's iconic atmosphere, and it looks like EA are hoping to achieve the same again this year with Battlefield 2042.

What's The Battlefield 2042 Trailer Music?

The song from the reveal trailer is a remix of 'Kickstart My Heart' by 2WEI. You won't be able to find the song on their Spotify unfortunately, as it was commissioned for the trailer by EA. Though it might be available at some later date, perhaps even on the digital Battlefield 2042 soundtrack coming with the Ultimate edition of the game. For now, you can listen via their YouTube channel:

Let's hope that Battlefield 2042 will be filled with a few more great tracks like this to keep the blood pumping and the heart racing - because if there's one thing a Battlefield game absolutely needs, it's an epic atmosphere.

We can perhaps expect more from 2WEI, as they've got a proven track record with video games. They worked previously on League of Legends, Call of Duty, Valorant, and Apex Legends, so it might be that off the back of this work, EA hired them to do more of the in-game music for Battlefield 2042.
