An update of CoD: Mobile's battle royale mode brought significant changes to the classes, introducing professions that alter the mechanics. How to upgrade, a class tier list and more you'll find right here.
Season 7: New Vision City introduced significant changes to Call of Duty: Mobile's class system, bringing in professions that provide passive abilities in addition to class abilities. These passive abilities have replaced the previous perk system. Moreover, Season 2 (2023) introduced a new class called Ravager, capable of deploying a sentry turret that can shift the tide of battle.
These changes have significantly impacted the dynamics of the battle royale mode, making it crucial to choose the best class and associated profession if you aim to emerge victorious in BR. This is especially true with the addition of the new Shock Wave class in Season 5: Get Wrecked.
To help you navigate these changes, we have compiled a comprehensive guide to classes and professions, including a tier list that assesses the power level of each option.

How to Unlock Classes in CoD: Mobile
Before delving into the classes and professions, it's essential to understand how to unlock the various classes in CoD: Mobile.
The primary method is through credits (not COD Points). Classes can be purchased for 2000 credits, which can be earned by leveling up the battle pass, receiving daily login rewards, opening crates, and more.
Some classes, like the upcoming Igniter class, are unlocked through the battle pass associated with their release. After the battle pass period ends, they become available for purchase using credits.
Note: Only one player in each squad can choose a specific class.
Professions And Their Passive Abilities
Starting from Season 7, CoD: Mobile's class system underwent a significant change. Classes were grouped into class professions, resulting in five distinct professions.
These professions offer passive bonuses.
The five professions, their passives, and associated classes are as follows:
Disrupt (Disruptor)
- Passive: Increased movement speed after activating the class skill.
- Classes: Trap Master, Rewind, Trickster, Smoke Bomber, Hacker
Stealth (Assassin)
- Passive: Reduced movement noise.
- Classes: Ninja, Poltergeist, Pumped (unavailable)
Support (Rebound)
- Passive: Reduced recovery and revive time.
- Classes: Medic, Refitter
Defense (Fortress)
- Passive: Decreases explosive damage and mitigates the effects of negative statuses (such as storm damage).
- Classes: Spotter, Defender, Desperado, Igniter
Tracker (Observer)
- Passive: Enables the detection of enemy footsteps from a distance.
- Classes: Scout, Clown, Mechanic, Airborne
To add a bit of complexity, certain classes have always possessed passive abilities, and some of these passives have now become the primary passive ability of their respective profession.
This means that with the Season 7 update, many classes have been either buffed or nerfed, depending on whether they gained a passive ability or if it became more prevalent within their profession.

How To Enhance Battle Royale Classes In CoD: Mobile
Prior to diving into the class tier list, you may be curious about how to upgrade classes. In CoD: Mobile, each class has a standard and upgraded state. The standard state becomes accessible when your class skill meter is full (displayed as a circle on the top right of your screen). Once upgraded, it turns purple.
To upgrade your class, you need to locate a Class Driver. These can be found at Upgrade Terminals, marked with a purple icon on your map.
Upon acquiring a Class Driver, your character will automatically use it to upgrade the skill.
You will know the upgrade is complete when the circle displaying your class skill turns purple.
