We've ranked all light-machine guns in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 (2023). Check out our tierlist!
Submachine guns currently dominate the meta in Call of Duty: Mobile, but that doesn't mean other weapon classes can't be effective too. Assault rifles have their place, and so do light machine guns. LMGs are for those who prefer a more substantial firepower, boasting large magazines, high damage output, and typically high fire rates.

If LMGs suit your playstyle, you'll want to know which one is the best. That's where this CoD: Mobile Season 5 LMG tier list comes in. We rank every LMG available in the game from best to worst, so you can determine which guns are worth using and which ones are better left behind.
CoD: Mobile Season 5 - LMG Tier List
Light machine guns are large, powerful weapons that sacrifice mobility for massive firepower. They often feature large magazine capacities, high fire rates, and the ability to shoot through thin walls and doors due to their large caliber ammunition.
With the right attachments, you can further enhance their already impressive firepower and magazine capacity or optimize them for increased mobility, though we recommend focusing on firepower. If you're looking for a more mobile weapon with decent firepower, we suggest picking up an assault rifle instead.
In total, there are nine LMGs available in CoD: Mobile Season 5. While it may be a smaller selection compared to the 20 or so SMGs, there are still enough options to choose from, with some clearly outperforming others.
We've ranked the LMG's in our tier list from D (the worst) to S (the best) and also provide a small explanation why they're at this rank.
D-Tier
- UL736
- PKM
Two guns that you should leave behind: the UL736 and PKM lack many redeeming qualities.
The PKM, in particular, is incredibly heavy, slowing you down significantly, and no attachments can alleviate this major drawback.
It's not worth the effort.
C-Tier
- Hades
The Hades received a buff in Season 10, making it the only LMG to undergo adjustments. Its sprint-to-fire and reload speed have been enhanced, while its range penalties have been reduced.
The Hades has always excelled in terms of range, and with the decreased penalties, its effectiveness has improved. However, it still falls behind its counterparts in terms of firepower and RPM. It remains in the C-tier.
B-Tier
- M4LMG
Derived from the M4 assault rifle, the M4LMG is by no means a bad weapon, but it lacks outstanding qualities that would make it a truly exceptional choice.
At its best, it offers relatively low recoil, impressive range, and accuracy. However, its lower fire rate and limited mobility can put you at a disadvantage against more agile opponents.
A-Tier
- S36
- RPD
- Chopper
- Dingo
The Holger 26 faces a true competitor in the S36. With an even faster rate of fire than the Holger 26, the S36's main drawback is its somewhat unpredictable recoil.
The RPD is another viable option with impressive accuracy and range, making it ideal for engaging enemies at a distance. However, its limited mobility and lower fire rate prevent it from ranking higher on the tier list.
- It's finally here! Did you already get your copy of Diablo IV ?
The Chopper received buffs in Season 8, improving its damage, range, and bullet spread accuracy. While it was previously considered average, these enhancements have elevated it in the tier list.
S-Tier
- Holger 26
When it comes to LMGs in Season 5, the Holger 26 stands above the rest. It was already a formidable weapon, but it received a series of buffs in the Season 9 weapon balance changes.
With its decent mobility, impressive range, and rapid fire rate, the Holger 26 became even more powerful after the buffs. Its damage, range, and bullet spread accuracy were all increased. With a generous 100-round magazine and manageable recoil, the Holger 26 continues to dominate the battlefield.
So with the Holger 26 as our winner, we've reached the end of our tier list. Hopefully, you can use this information to own your game!
