All Sinper/Marksman Rifles in Call of Duty: Mobile Season 5 ranked from best to worst!
Call of Duty: Mobile provides players with an extensive range of weapons, encompassing everything from a butterfly knife to a shoulder-mounted rocket launcher. While submachine guns currently dominate the CoD: Mobile meta, this doesn't mean that other weapon classes are disregarded. Sniper rifles, in particular, remain an excellent choice in skilled hands, capable of excelling in both standard multiplayer and battle royale game modes.
With a total of 17 sniper/marksman rifles available, including the recent addition of the HDR bolt action sniper in the Season 3 'Rush' update, determining the best one can be challenging. This is further compounded by the multitude of attachments for each weapon and the buffs received by the HDR and other weapons in Season 5.
Fortunately, we are here to assist you with a comprehensive sniper/marksman rifle tier list that ranks all 17 guns from best to worst.
Sniper/Marksman Rifle Tier List For CoD: Mobile
In CoD: Mobile, sniper rifles and marksman rifles are distinct weapon classes. However, for the purpose of our tier list, we have chosen to rank them together since they serve a similar role once you enter the lobby.

Although there are some differences between the two classes, such as sniper rifles being more powerful and bulkier while marksman rifles offer higher fire rates and greater mobility, both excel in long-range engagements. They typically feature high-velocity rounds and magnified scopes, enabling them to eliminate opponents with just one or two well-placed shots.
Our sniper/marksman rifle tier list will categorize the guns from S (the best) to D (the worst) and provide explanations for their respective rankings.
S-Tier
- ZRG 20mm
- DL Q33
- SKS
- HDR
The HDR sniper rifle showcases remarkable damage, range, and accuracy, making it a versatile choice for almost any map in the game. Normally, it would be considered an A-tier weapon, but when paired with the optimal attachments tailored for the HDR, it ascends to the prestigious S-tier.
Moving on, the ZRG 20mm remains an outstanding option. This sniper rifle delivers incredible firepower and emerges as the sole true competitor to the DL Q33 in terms of authentic sniper rifles. Equipped with the Anti-Vehicle Mag attachment, the ZRG 20mm becomes a lethal force, capable of achieving one-shot kills anywhere on the body in the right hands.
The DL Q33, once the reigning champion and still at the top of its game, stands as a premier sniper rifle. With its exceptional accuracy and powerful impact, the DL Q33 has consistently been regarded as the epitome of a well-rounded sniper rifle. Furthermore, its recoil has been further enhanced in preparation for Season 10, ensuring its continued excellence.

Undoubtedly, the SKS holds the title of the best marksman rifle in the game. It boasts an impressive fire rate, lethal accuracy, and substantial damage output, making it an absolute force to be reckoned with in capable hands. With a wide selection of attachments available, it can be customized to excel in various roles, whether you prefer mid-range or long-range engagements.
A-Tier
- XPR-50
- Koshka
- SVD
During Season 9, the XPR-50 underwent significant improvements, despite a subsequent 'shadow' nerf. With its notable firing speed and impressive damage range, the XPR-50 stands as a truly formidable sniper rifle. It falls just short of the two aforementioned rifles due to their exceptional one-shot potential.
The Koshka serves as a competitor to the DL Q33, although it doesn't quite reach the same level. Offering greater mobility, the Koshka is a more agile firearm. However, its effectiveness diminishes as the distance between you and your target increases, resulting in less impactful shots. While suitable for standard multiplayer matches, it may be wise to choose an alternative weapon for battle royale engagements.
For snipers who prefer a more mobile play style, the SVD is an excellent choice. With a relatively high fire rate, good mobility, and manageable recoil, the SVD enables effective suppression of enemies from a distance. Its range and damage capabilities are also commendable.
B-Tier
- Rytec AMR
- Locus
- SP-R 208
The Rytec AMR is an imposing weapon, boasting immense power. Its high damage and exceptional range make it an ideal choice for battle royale gameplay. However, due to its low fire rate and limited mobility, the Rytec AMR may encounter difficulties in standard multiplayer matches.
Similarly, the Locus shares many similarities and challenges with the Rytec AMR. In fact, these issues are even more prominent with the Locus, particularly regarding its mobility, which is even more hindered than the previous weapon. While the Locus can find utility in battle royale scenarios, it is advisable to opt for an alternative sniper rifle in standard multiplayer matches.
The SP-R 208, the second marksman rifle on our list, has garnered a considerable fan base. This is largely attributed to its wide array of attachments, which enable players to address some of the weapon's notable weaknesses. Although the SP-R 208 offers good mobility, its range is lacking, necessitating the addition of a different barrel attachment for optimal performance.
C-Tier
- Arctic .50
- Outlaw
- Kilo Bolt Action
Once regarded as the talk of the town due to its overpowered characteristics, the Arctic .50 has since faded into the past. While it remains a sniper rifle with potent impact and quick aim-down-sights (ADS) speed, it is outshined by the DL Q33 and Koshka in terms of overall performance.
The Outlaw, on the other hand, is a nimble bolt-action sniper rifle with several commendable attributes. However, it falls into a somewhat awkward position, sitting between a marksman rifle like the SVD and a higher caliber sniper rifle such as the DL Q33. This makes it challenging to choose the most suitable option.
The Kilo Bolt Action is a formidable weapon that can be highly effective when wielded skillfully. However, due to its bolt-action mechanism, it requires precision with the initial shot, as subsequent shots may not be as swift.
D-Tier
- NA-45
- M21 EBR
- MK2
Regrettably, the NA-45 lacks the essential attributes of a reliable sniper rifle, including low damage and poor accuracy. It is strongly advised to steer clear of this weapon.
On the other hand, the M21 EBR, although a semi-automatic sniper rifle with decent damage output, fails to deliver satisfactory real-world performance despite its positive qualities. It is in need of substantial improvements before it becomes a viable option worth considering.
The MK2, the final marksman rifle on our list, is not a bad weapon. However, if you're seeking a bolt-action marksman rifle, both the Kilo Bolt Action and SP-R 208 surpass it in performance.
That wraps up our sniper/marksman rifle tier list. Remember, attachments can improve their performance, and when it comes to sniper rifles, it's important to find one that feels right for you. So, don't hesitate to try out different options until you find the one you trust to perform when it matters.
