According to VGC, this year's Call of Duty: WW2 Vanguard will not be shown at E3 2021. Sledgehammer Games are going to be using the time to prepare for the integration of CoD: WW2 Vanguard into Warzone and will seemingly add a new Warzone Pacific Map.
According to leaks from VGC, the upcoming Call of Duty 2021 or Call of Duty: WW2 Vanguard, as it is currently called, will not be presented at E3 2021 as was thought. CoD: Vanguard has been battling rumors for some months now, and many claimed that it might not even be released this year due to serious difficulties in its development. This year has been especially taxing for Activision Blizzard, who have to monitor and improve Warzone all the while, and who are even juggling with the release of CoD: Modern Warfare 3 Remastered.
Surely their main focus right now must be the integration of the upcoming title into Warzone. We don't need to remind you how bad things went with Black Ops Cold War...
What Do We Know About Call of Duty: WW2 Vanguard?
According to the leaks, CoD: WW2 Vanguard features a campaign, multiplayer, and zombies. The setting is World War II, in both European and Pacific theatres, and focuses on the emergence of the modern Allied Special Forces. We expect a typical Call of Duty set in World War II, although the focus on the Special Forces sounds interesting. That could open up some exciting campaign opportunities.
If you're a keen Call of Duty fan, but you're ready for something new from the franchise, remember that there are rumors of a Modern Warfare 2 Multiplayer Remaster, and this year's Battlefield looks amazing.
Is Call of Duty: WW2 Vanguard Coming To Warzone?
As announced by Activision, Warzone will continue across several CoD titles - so yes Call of Duty: WW2 Vanguard will be integrated too. It would be mad at this point if CoD: WW2 Vanguard wasn't integrated into the Free-to-Play Battle Royale.
The integration of BOCW last year was a disaster. The weapon balancing turned so many people away from the game, so Sledgehammer Games wants to improve the integration of the new title.
Will There Be A WW2 Pacific Warzone Map?
Yes, Warzone will get a new map in a WWII setting – most certainly a Pacific map. As with Black Ops Cold War, when Warzone travelled into the past with Verdansk '84, the Battle Royale will also get a new map with CoD: WW2 Vanguard. Hopefully not Verdansk '45. I should restate that: if it is Verdansk '45, then Warzone is dead to me, now and always.
NEW WARZONE MAP: According to VGC, #Warzone will receive a WW2 'Pacific based' map and it'll be the games largest map ever!It will also feature WW2 style vehicles! pic.twitter.com/r91TwKeFoR

The new Warzone Pacific map will take place in the Pacific theatre, presumably on a Japanese Island. It's rumored that the map is much larger than Verdansk and includes new vehicles, which again suggests an island. Hopping across an archipelago in a military dinghy could get really dull, really quickly. So let's hope there's a large central island where we can stay dry.
When Will CoD: WW2 Vanguard Be Announced?
So far there is no reveal date for CoD: WW2 Vanguard, but it will most likely be announced via an in-game event in Warzone. As soon as there is news, we will of course keep you up to date.
