Modern Warfare 3 will release on November 10 and we have the exact start times and when you can preload the game. Check out the following list to see when you can start playing MW3 in your local time zone.
We loved the MW3 beta back in October and also finished the campaign in early access already. Sadly, the campaign didn't live up to our expectations (check out our MW3 review in progress for our thoughts), but nontheless, we are hyped for the full launch with Multiplayer and Zombies.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will be released on November 10 and obviously there will be a preload available. If you don't want to waste any time and be able to start your weapon and camo grind right away, you need to know the exact preload and start time for Modern Warfare 3 in your time zone. Luckily those were officially revealed in a blog post already.
Here are the exact MW3 preload and start times around the globe. We hope you find it helpful.
Modern Warfare 3 Preload
As usual, the Modern Warfare 3 will get a preload, to make sure you don't have to wait for an over 100 GB download at launch day.
Here are the dates:
Platform | Preload Time |
PlayStation | November 8, 10AM PT |
Xbox | November 8, 10AM PT |
PC | November 8, 10AM PT |
Modern Warfare 3 Start Times
Other than the preload times, the start times of MW3 are different around the globe, at least for consoles. It's kind of confusing, but MW3 will have a rolling launch (for consoles), starting in New Zealand at midnight (November 10, at 12 AM GMT+13), which is November 9, at 3 AM PT (USA). The game will be fully live worldwide by 10 PM PT on November 9.
On PC it is a bit easier as you can see down below:
Platform | Region | Local Start Time |
PC | West Coast | November 9, at 9:00 pm PST |
East Coast | November 10, at 00:00 am EST
UK | November 10, at 5:00 am GMT
Europe | November 10, at 6:00 am CET
PlayStation, Xbox | Global | November 9, at 3 AM PT to 10 PM PT (rolling out regionally) |
Yep, we also don't know why Activision is making it that complicated... Why not just have the same release schedule for consoles and PC? But it is what it is, so if you are playing on console, you might have to check back every now and again to see if Modern Warfare 3 is already live. However, after 10 PM PT on November 9 MW3 should be live for everyone globally.
Have you already preordered Modern Warfare 3 or are you waiting for the first reviews?
