The Longbow in Modern Warfare 3 looks like an MMR, but is in fact a sniper with a big magazine and good mobility. In this article, you can find the best MW3 Longbow loadout with attachments and equipment.
With the higher TTK in Modern Warfare 3, snipers are actually really good again. While ARs and SMGs need significantly more shots to down an enemy, most snipers still can one-shot on the upper body. This means, if you have good aim, you will be able to win most gunfights with a quick upper body or headshot.
While the Longbow does look more like an MMR, it is in fact a sniper with a very big magazine and comparably good mobility. It will produce some hit markers, if you don't manage to hit the head or upper chest, but the fire rate is high enough to quickly land a second shot.

In our setup, we go for damage range and bullet velocity, as well as for more mobility. The barrel and ammunition will increase our damage range and bullet velocity to make sure we can land quick shots over great distances. Basically every other attachment will increase mobility and ADS speed. We can even take a smaller magazine to boost our mobility since 10 rounds are still more than enough for a sniper.

Our loadout is pretty standard: EOD Padding for more resistance against explosives, gloves for faster weapon switching, which is a great perk to have in a sniper loadout and the boots will let us strafe faster while aiming.
