Warzone Pacific, despite it's initial stability issues, has continued to receive new content. In this article, we're going to provide you with absolutely everything you need to know about the new season.

If you're always looking to improve, and this is the season you're going to really grind, then allow us to help with our rundown of the best guns in Warzone.

Warzone Season 5: Reloaded Release Date & Time

Warzone Season 5: Reloaded will be released on Wednesday, September 28 at 09:00 PT (12:00 ET, 17:00 GMT, 18:00 CEST). If you want to try out the new weapons, then you can hop into Vanguard 24 hours before the Warzone update and give them a go (Vanguard always gets new seasons a day earlier).

The download for Season 5 should be available to pre-install approximately 12 hours before the new season goes live, so you've got time to get that out of the way.

Warzone Season 5: Reloaded Content

The main things we're getting this season are a couple of weapons with meta-potential (an LMG and an Assault Rifle), and the return of Resurgence Supreme. There are smaller changes and new additions to the game, but we'll go in-depth on everything further down in this article.

As you can see they've thrown all care for Vanguard, and it's lore out the window at this point. It's just about pumping out wild skins from now until MW2's release date.

New Warzone Weapons Coming In Season 5: Reloaded

Let's get to the most important part of each new season: the weapons.

BP50 Assault Rifle

This is surely a BOCW weapon. It'c clearly just an FN F2000, and so we have no idea why it's showing up in WW2.

The devs have only told us that this is a full-auto bullpup with a high rate of fire.

Lienna 57 LMG

Similarly to the BP50, we don't have specific details yet, besides knowing that this is a compact LMG good for short to medium distances.

New Warzone Operators Coming In Season 5: Reloaded

In Season 5: Reloaded, there will be two new operators, who are all based on older CoD villains (seriously, what even is the "lore" of Caldera anymore). These operators will also grant you an additional 10% XP for their preferred weapon.

He “Seraph” Zhen-Zhen (from Black Ops 3's group the 54 Immortals)BP50 Assault Rifle

The operator's favorite weapons can be a huge help with the weapon grind. For more tips & tricks to grinding, check out our complete guides on the subject. One for Vanguard Multiplayer, another for Vanguard Zombies, and a third for Warzone.

Warzone Modes Coming In Season 5: Reloaded

Season 5: Reloaded will see the return of a fan-favorite mode, introduced earlier this season: Rebirth Island Resurgence Supreme.

  • In this mode you have higher health, and some of the equipment is unavailable.
  • Only high-value weapons will drop as loot.
  • The mode is available in Solos, Duos, Trios, and Quads.
  • The Resurgence countdown is increased.

If you liked Rebirth Iron Trials, this probably one you'll enjoy.

New Warzone Battlepass

Every season of Warzone brings a new Battle Pass of 100 tiers, each with their own rewards, and this season is no different. As always, there will be some good blueprints and a lot of double XP tokens, so we would recommend it to most players. The Battle Pass costs 1000CP, ($10) or 2400CP if you want to skip the first 20 tiers.

It's also worth mentioning that the Battle Pass gives you back CP as a reward for reaching certain tiers. If you complete the whole thing and reach tier 100 then you earn a total of 1300 CP. So you actually gain 300 CP if you play enough to get to tier 100 each season.

Best Meta Weapons for Season 5: Reloaded

The Meta Long-Range AR: KG M40

After the NZ nerfs, the KG M40 seems to be the go-to option for Caldera. This gun has absolutely no recoil, great range and bullet velocity, which are all the traits we want for a long range AR. It doesn't deal as much damage as the NZ, but that shouldn't matter as much, since hitting our shots is a lot more important in those longer range gun fights.

If you play a lot of Rebirth Island or Fortune's Keep, then you should opt for the Volkssturmgewehr, M13 or Cooper Carbine.

The Meta SMG: Armaguerra 43

The Marco 5 is still the best SMG for Season 5, but we wanted to highlight this Amaguerra 43 build. It's almost as good as the Marco 5, and this gun shines in one particular area: strafe speed. This gun's strafe speed is absolutely insane, and you'll be running circles around your enemies. It was popularized by the movement king JoeWo himself, so it's bound to be good.

When is the Next Season?

Warzone Season 6 will probably arrive in mid-October. Until then, you have time to grind out the Battle Pass for thenew Season 5 weapons.

Smaller balance patches are implemented each week, usually on Wednesday's at 1PM ET (6PM GMT, 7PM CET). But for the full patch notes and our analysis on these changes week-by-week, check out our hub article on the weekly updates.
