Call of Duty: Vanguard launches with a ton of
classic WWII guns. But for every gun, we have an astonishing amount of
attachments to choose from, and we can use ten at once. So, where do you
even begin? What attachments do you need? Don't worry, we'll give you all the answers in our Vanguard weapon setup guides. And today: the Revolving Shotgun.
If you want to play with the Revolving Shotgun in Call of Duty: Vanguard, you'll have to be patient. At first, the weapon is little more than a bad joke: it's way too slow, takes a strange amount of accuracy, and does so little damage that you won't even get the kill if the barrel is stuck in the enemy's mouth. But keep at it, unlock the right attachments, and the first shotgun in the game suddenly becomes a killing machine. Add a bit more damage with incendiary ammo, go for hip-fire accuracy and speed and you'll have a really great time with the Revolving Shotgun.
Check out our top 10 weapons in Vanguard for an idea of how well the weapon places. Needless to say, it's high enough that we think this makes a solid choice for any player to start leveling.

If you want to play with the revolving shotgun in Call of Duty: Vanguard, you'll have to be patient. At first, the weapon is little more than a bad joke: it's way too slow, takes a strange amount of precision, and does so little damage that you won't even get the kill if the barrel is stuck in the enemy's mouth. But keep at it, unlock the right attachments, and the first shotgun in the game suddenly becomes a killing machine. Add a bit more damage, speed and range and you'll have a lot of fun with that shotgun.
The Equipment & Perks On A Revolving Shotgun Loadout
From what we've played so far, the meta loadout will look something like this:
- Secondary Weapon: Machine Pistol
- Lethal: Thermite
- Tactical: Stuns
- Perk 1: Ghost
- Perk 2: Radar
- Perk 3: Demolition
- Field Upgrade: Armour Plates
The above will almost certainly be the multiplayer meta for a Revolving Shotgun loadout unless they make serious balance changes. The Armour Plates in particular are in need of a nerf, but whether one comes... we'll have to wait and see.
