Warzone has long been plagued by cheaters and hackers and sadly the cheat providers are becoming more inventive. Soft Aim in Warzone could make finding and blocking cheaters even more difficult in the future. What is Soft Aim in Warzone and how is it different from Silent Aim?
More and more players are foregoing crossplay in Warzone to avoid cheaters and although Raven Software has already banned thousands of accounts, the fight against the hackers never ends.
Two particularly nasty Aimbot hacks are now making a name for themselves because they are so inconspicuous – Soft Aim and Silent Aim. these two bring incredible benefits but are difficult to spot.
What is Soft Aim in Warzone?
Soft Aim is an aimbot that works as an auto-trigger and automatically shoots with 100% accuracy as soon as the player has his crosshair on another player. The player himself does not have to do anything more than moving the crosshair over an opponent. The special thing about it is that the player's movements are not impaired. If you watch such a player, you can see him move normally and aim normally – at first glance, it looks like a normal player who just hits well. Normal aimbots usually jerk the crosshairs to the head of the next best opponent, which is why it is relatively easy to spot such hacks. But this opens up a whole new way for them to hide.

What is Silent Aim in Warzone?
Silent Aim in Warzone basically gives the hacker magnetic bullets. As with the Soft Aim, the player can move and aim normally, but he has to pull the trigger himself. In contrast to normal aimbots, the crosshairs are not jerked onto the opponent, but the bullets are still sent to the next best opponent in the field of view. So if you shoot in the approximate direction of an enemy, the bullets will still hit. Basically it turns your opponents in bullet magnets.
Silent Aim is now a thing - get ready to have the game destroyed even harder by cheaters in the next couple of days from CODWarzone
So both hacks are specific types of aimbots that are particularly inconspicuous as they do not automatically lock onto players. The hacking players move like normal and aim like normal. The only difference is that with Soft Aim the weapon is automatically fired when the crosshair is over an enemy, while with Silent Aim your bullets are more or less magnetically attracted to the enemy but you still need to manually fire.
This is so problematic for the community because it makes it even more difficult for players to recognize these hacks in the Killcam.
Can the new anti-cheat introduced with CoD: Vanguard compete with these hacks? We hope so, otherwise, there's a bleak future for Warzone...
