Warzone 2 Season 2 had one of the worst weapon metas in a long time, thanks to the KV Broadside. The infamous fire shotgun was somehow able to reduce the skill gap even further in CoD, but thankfully it's being nerfed in Season 2: Reloaded.
The Warzone devs were a lot better in the past at nerfing broken weapons. However, in Warzone 2, the best weapons in the game have received very few nerfs and the meta has barely shifted.
The most egregious example of this has been the KV Broadside. This weapon has been making full squad-wipes far easier than they've ever been before, but for some reason the devs have refused to nerf it until now.

KV Broadside Finally Receiving Nerf In Season 2: Reloaded
Call of Duty have promised to listen to fans and the KV Broadside shotgun will indeed be nerfed in Season 2 Reloaded. Season 2 Reloaded will launch globally on Wednesday, March 15, at 9 am PT (12pm ET / 5pm GMT / 6pm CET).
The devs have not been specific about what will happen to the shotgun in Season 2 Reloaded, but in a Tweet they specifically mention the following balance change:
Damage reduction to the KV Broadside and Dragon's Breath rounds.
We don't know how much the damage will be reduced by, or whether the weapon will be nerfed in other aspects as well.
So, there you have it, the KV Broadside is finally being nerfed. You can read the complete patch notes on Wednesday, March 15, usually a few hours before release.
Hopefully, they can hire a better balancing team before CoD 2023...
