We all wish for the return of Rebirth Island or a similar smaller resurgence map. With Warzone 2.0 Season 2, this wish finally comes true.
So far, we have only one map in Warzone 2.0: Al Mazrah. Many miss the popular Resurgence Map. Whether it is Rebirth Island or Fortune's Keep, we loved it. After initial rumors, it has now been officially confirmed that such a resurgence map will come with Warzone Season 2.0.
Warzone 2.0 Season 2 Introduces New Resurgence Map
Finally, we have the official confirmation that with Warzone 2.0 Season 2 the Resurgence mode will be back along with a new Resurgence map. After first rumors, here is the official tweet:

Resurgence is a smaller and more chaotic battle royale experience. It first debuted with Rebirth Island in the original Warzone and sees players automatically respawn upon elimination so long as one member of their squad remains alive.
Since the release of Warzone 2.0, there have been constant rumors that the mode could return and the community probably wants nothing more than a second, smaller Rebirth Island-style map. We've had leaks of such a map for a while now, and even a first image:

We don't know yet if the map will actually be the same as in the tweet above, but at least we now have the certainty that we will soon get a Resurgence map.
As soon as we get more information about the new map, you will find everything in our Warzone 2.0 Map article. Season 2 starts on February 15th, so keep your calendars clear!
