Leaks have revealed Bombers will be involved in the Warzone Pacific Map Reveal. What does this mean for the Warzone Pacific Map Reveal Event?
The new Warzone Pacific map is not a particularly long way out. With it comes a brand new sprawling island map, with tons of fantastic new locations, and a gritty World War 2 theme. The thing is, though, there needs to be some kind of transition. Very little is known about the Warzone Pacific Map Reveal Event so far, but now we are here to present you with one of the first leaks to come our way...
Indeed, we can expect a lot from the new map. Verdansk has more than overstayed its welcome, with the Season 3 Nuke Event turning out to be more of a dummy-bomb than a full-blown ballistic missile. Words can still not really express how disappointing that Nuke Event was, and how little was really changed in Verdansk '84. It was honestly insulting. That being said, the new Pacific Warzone Map looks incredible, and we're here to talk about the reveal event...
Okay, so the Warzone Pacific Map Reveal Event is right around this-here corner, but maybe you want some context before your roll around the bend? Here is said context:

Bombers Leaked for Warzone Pacific Map Reveal Event
Model scripts from the Warzone Season 6 update hint that bombers will be added to the game, possibly for the Warzone Pacific Map Reveal Event. Whilst we can't say for certain that these are specifically for the reveal event, there are currently no bomber jets in Warzone, and several prior leaks and rumors have suggested that planes are being added.
Now, according to the leak from data miner @ZestyCODLeaks on Twitter, model script strings were added to the Warzone files that mentioned bombers. Specifically, the leak contained the following strings:
- veh_wz_usa_bomber_b17_cloud
- veh_wz_usa_bomber_b17_destroyed_fall_loop
Whilst we don't know for certain what these two scripts refer to – as nothing has been confirmed or announced by Activision, Raven Software, or Sledgehammer Games – we theorize that these are animation scripts for B17 Bombers in Warzone's new Pacific Map. We don't know if it's specifically for the Warzone Pacific Map Reveal Event, but the second script in particular looks like it could be the "fall loop" animation for an eliminated B17 Bomber Jet.
WARZONE EVENT FOR PACIFIC REVEAL INFOFor a while we've known that we will see some sort of event in Warzone, leading up to a full reveal of the Pacific Warzone Map!In the S6 update, some model script strings were added to the #Warzone files, talking about BOMBERS!+ pic.twitter.com/zZsSTLBnGx

What is the B17 Bomber Coming to the Warzone Pacific Map?
The B17 Bomber that may be coming to the Warzone Pacific Map is an American four-engined heavy bomber that was used during World War 2. During the Second World War, the Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress served primarily as a daylight strategic bombing jet that was deployed against German targets in the European campaign. Produced between 1936 and 1945, more than 12,000 of these classic bomber jets were manufactured, with it playing a key role in the European campaign, and a lesser role in the Pacific War.
Now, considering its minimal involvement in the Pacific War, it's surprising to see this particular Bomber Jet featured in Warzone. Keep in mind, of course, that this is purely an assumption based on the leaks from Zesty on Twitter. This could all be incorrect, but it does seem pretty likely.
Yes, the B17 Bomber could be coming to the new Warzone Map, but will it be in the Warzone Pacific Map Reveal Event? Maybe, maybe not. We could certainly see it play a role in the transition, but as always, we'll just have to wait and see.
