In Call of Duty: Mobile, the Gunsmith allows you to design custom loadouts for your preferred weapons, which is an extremely gratifying aspect of the game.

In regular multiplayer modes, deploying your desired loadout is straight forward, since you can pick it at the beginning of a game and even switch loadouts during the match.

But what about using custom loadouts in battle royale mode? This question puzzles many players. In battle royale, you start with a secondary weapon and must scavenge for weapons as you play.

Fortunately, it is feasible to use custom loadouts in COD: Mobile's battle royale mode, and you can even set up multiple loadouts for availability during the game. This guide will elucidate how to do it.

Creating Custom Loadouts for Battle Royale Mode

First, let's talk about how to set up the custom loadouts that you can use during battle royale matches.

Go to the 'Loadout' section, and then head to the 'Battle Royale' tab.

At the bottom right of this menu, under 'Customize Airdrop Weapons', you can select up to five Gunsmith-created loadouts. These will be your custom loadouts in battle royale mode.

You can also select your initial secondary weapon, camos, wingsuit, parachute, and battle royale class here.

After setting up your custom loadouts, you need to know how to access them during a battle royale match.

Using Custom Loadouts in Battle Royale Mode

Custom loadouts are brought into the game through what are known as Arsenal Airdrops.

There are two kinds of Airdrops: Standard Airdrops and Arsenal Airdrops. They are both dropped by cargo planes, but there are vital distinctions between the two.

The first difference is the color and icon used for Airdrops on the minimap. Standard Airdrops are shown as green boxes, while Arsenal Airdrops are depicted as pink/purple and have a wrench icon.

The Airdrop boxes themselves have different colors. Standard Airdrops are forest green, whereas Arsenal Airdrops are deep blue.

Players are notified through an audio message and on-screen text when an Airdrop is incoming. Standard Airdrops are announced as 'Airdrop on the way', while Arsenal Airdrops are announced as 'Arsenal Airdrop on the way'.

Both types of Airdrops emit a red smoke plume, which can help you locate them on the ground.

Standard Airdrops contain supplies and potentially Mythic weapons, so it's beneficial to seek them out if one is nearby.

As previously mentioned, Arsenal Airdrops contain your custom loadouts. When you approach an Arsenal Airdrop, interact with it, and a menu will display your pre-configured custom loadouts.

You can only choose one loadout, so make your selection carefully. However, if you discover another Arsenal Airdrop later, you have the option to select a different custom loadout as your second primary weapon.

Keep in mind that the effectiveness of your custom loadouts depends on how well you have configured them. Weapons can have numerous attachments and perks, and you must level up your guns to unlock all their potential.
