Daniel “dafran” Francesca recently got banned by the event organizer Solary, now Twitch did the same a few days later.

The former Overwatch player has had a rough start of the week. Over the course of the weekend, he got banned by the French event organizer Solary. Due to an outburst dafran was banned from participating in the Solary Valorant tournament and all future events made by the organization. Daniel Francesca’s response wasn’t exactly the typical one we see after such confrontations. Dafran has had problems with toxicity in the past over which he has been suspended. Reportedly he came back “reformed” but it’s really hard to tell lately.

The source of it all was an argument between dafran’s team Prodigy and the opposing one HypHypHyp. Solary wanted to give the latter a map advantage and dafran wasn’t quite happy with that. The player’s quarre continued after the conclusion of the Valorant event but soon after the beef between him and the opposing team’s captain was over. Or was it?

The issues continued when dafran was paired up with Evan 'DRG' Depauw who plays for Solary. Dafran threw a number of Valorant rounds on purpose and eventually called his followers to stop harassing his “opponent”. During one of his streams dafran had yet another outburst at Solary.

Anyone supporting Solary TV is a f***ing b**ch,” . Yes, I’m going to get banned tomorrow and I don’t give a f**k. I will stand by all those words.

Unsurprisingly Twitch decided to suspend the streamer for a full week. It’s like dafran knew exactly what was going to happened but did what he felt.

Francesca seems like the kind of player to stand his ground and probably won’t succumb to the peer pressure of apologizing. The ban on Twitch is rather short and he’ll resume streaming soon. The ban for Valorant events is only limited to those made by Solary TV which he doesn’t want to be part of anyway. At the end of the day, dafran didn’t lose anything while in the meantime he was able to say exactly what he wanted.
