We're getting more information by the day about Amazon Tomb Raider series. And we've just learned that an Indiana Jones star is going to join the project!
At the moment, video game adaptations are booming, with HBO's The Last of Us leading the way. But it's Amazon who seems to have the next big one lined-up. They're making a series and a movie of Tomb Raider!
Even more excitingly, a popular name has now been suggested for the project. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is reportedly going to be an executive producer and writer for the Tomb Raider show, and if you're unfamiliar, she has an impressive resume.

What has Phoebe Waller Bridge done before? Well she's far from inexperienced in the field of producing shows, so you don't need to worry. But she's also a pretty huge actor.
Two famous shows of her are Fleabag and Killing Eve. She wrote and produced both of those shows, and they have a huge following. Another big writing project of hers was the last James Bond movie.
As an actress you might know her from Solo: A Star Wars Story starring beside Donald Glover. In just a little bit you'll also be able to see her in the new Indiana Jones movie.
With such a resume we can probably feel a bit safer for the future of Tomb Raider adaptions. Now that the industry seems to take our stories seriously and put in some effort, let's look forward to an entertaining series.
