Among Us was one of the biggest hits throughout the early 2020's and now the game is also going to be getting an animated telelvision series.
Among Us has been one of the most popular games in recent history. It blew up throughout the 2020 and 2021 pandemic, with most people confined to their homes due to strict restrictions. So, people stayed indoors and murdered friends in space... virtually.
Now, it was just announced that an Among Us animated television series is in the works through publisher Variety.

Among Us will be made into an animated television series. CBS Eye Animations have partnered with InnerSloth to bring the game to the screen in a series that will follow a similar premise to the games.
According to the information from Variety, the series will follow a ship crew that have one imposter amongst them, a shape-shifting alien. The crew must find out who the alien is and get rid of them before they are completely wiped out. Sound more like a horror scenario if you ask me though.
Whether the series will be streamed, and if yes on which services, is not yet determined. Unfortunately a release date is also not been revealed yet so we're going to have to be patient for a bit longer.
