Twitch streamer Asmongold ragequits his broadcast, after Twitch ads interrupt the stream he was watching.
During his broadcast on January 13, Asmongold abruptly ended his stream because a Twitch ad interrupted the video he was watching.
Asmongold has spoken out against how Twitch handles ads before, but he really went off after witnessing first hand how ads can ruin a broadcast for the viewer.
Asmongold Rages After Twitch Ads Interrupt The Stream He was Watching
Streaming on his alt account "zackrawrr" as usual, Asmongold decided to watch Tectone’s Elden Ring stream. The fellow OTK member was struggling his way through the Malenia boss fight, when suddenly an ad interrupted the broadcast.
This prompted Asmon to ragequit the stream, saying: "I’m going to bed, I’m so f**king sick of this sh*t. I’m going to bed, this is f**king ridiculous. This is outrageous".
The stream was probably already nearing its end, but this left a bitter taste for the 32-year-old: "I’ve got to go to sleep, guys, I’ll see you guys later. I don’t even know if I’m going to be able to go to sleep,” he joked. “Holy f**k. Alright, guys, I’ll be on tomorrow. Peace".
Asmongold was always critical of Twitch ads and the incentives the platform used to promote them. This time he was on the receiving end of how jarring advertisement on Twitch can be and he didn't like it very much.
