Haikyu!! has quickly become one of the most hyped anime shows out there, rivaling the likes of Kuroko no Basuke and Hajime No Ippo. Sadly, the adventure is entering its final stage with the upcoming Haikyu!! finale, a two part movie series. For those in need of a quick recap, Haikyu!! is a popular Japanese manga and anime series that was created by Haruichi Furudate.
The story follows Shoyo Hinata, a passionate but short volleyball player, as he joins Karasuno High's team, teaming up with his former rival Tobio Kageyama in their goal to become the best! Together, they face the best teams in Japan, while growing as players, and striving to reach the national tournament.
Haikyu!! Battle of the Garbage Dump: Trailer & Release Date
Back in August, they announced Haikyuu!! FINAL, a movie project comprised of two parts. Now, we finally have a trailer for the first movie, Haikyuu!! Battle of the Garbage Dump.
The movie will see Karasuno take on their long-time rivals of Nekoma High at the Tokyo Nationals and is set to release on February 16, 2024.

The first movie of the two part series will be produced by the studio Production I.G., and Susumu Mitsunaka will make his return to direct the movie, with Takahiro Kishida designing the characters.
