Netflix has been pumping out one high quality original after another, and Money Heist has got to be one of their most popular franchises. But will the Spanish hit series continue? Here is everything we know about Money Heist season 6.

In case you need a little recap, Money Heist, or La Casa de Papel, is a Spanish series where the mysterious "Professor" recruits eight criminals to execute his ambitious plan. He wants them to occupy Spain's Royal Mint, print billions of euros, and evade law enforcement.

As you already know, things don't go smoothly, leading to one of the most hyped heist dramas ever released.

Money Heist Season 6: How The Franchise Will Continue

If you watched season 5, you might already be aware that Money Heist came to a close. Part 5 was already announced to be the finale and bring the series to a close, which might not be what long time fans have been hoping for (especially if you googled for season 6).

That's probably why, despite not extending the series for another season, Netflix plans to continue the franchise with a bunch of spin-offs, including a prequel to the original series that will focus on Berlin.

That's not all, though, as Netflix also produced a Korean version of the show, appropriately named Money Heist: Korea that might get renewed for a second season depending on its success.
