Moon Knight doesn't pull any punches, and neither will the Marvel show: Marvel boss Kevin Feige confirmed that Moon Knight will be dark.
Remember when Disney was all cute and family? Then you watch the first episode of The Mandalorian and someone gets cut in half within the first 5 minutes.... Yes, Disney+ isn't all flowers and peace, and even the family-friendly MCU is about to get its DC on. Uhm... meaning it's gonna get darker, not turn into shi*tty movies and TV.
Marvel Boss Confirms: Moon Knight Is "Brutal"
Straight from the boss Kevin Feige himself, we now know that Moon Knight will be the darkest story Marvel has told yet. In his own words, Moon Knight is "brutal", and they are "not pulling back". To any Moon Knight fan's ears, this is music. Kind of like when we found out Logan would be R-rated, and look how amazing that movie ended up being. Kevin Feige revealed all this in an interview with Empire Magazine, which you can catch up on here:

He's brutal. It’s been fun to work with Disney+ and see the boundaries shifting on what we’re able to do. There are moments [in the series] when Moon Knight is wailing on another character, and it is loud and brutal, and the knee-jerk reaction is, ‘We’re gonna pull back on this, right?’ No. We’re not pulling back. There’s a tonal shift. This is a different thing. This is Moon Knight.
Yes, folks, this is, for once, is not corporate bla-bla. This actually sounds like Moon Knight is going to be dark. Leading actor Oscar Isaac also chimed in on this, and expressed the exact same opinion:
It is risky,” Isaac says. “He’s an obscure hero, and the things we’re dealing with are very different. But because it’s a limited series, rather than a movie, the pressure isn’t there to make sure the opening weekend is massive. We’re able to take more risks, to bring that experimental quality on a huge scale.
I don't know about you, but I love to hear it. Then again, I've always been a fan of Moon Knight – still praying for a Punisher & Moon Knight crossover after this show – and I love Oscar Isaac, who, slowly but steadily, is building up quite the resume: Ex Machina, Dune, Star Wars, Triple Frontier... this guy is shooting up the charts, and he's a goddamn chameleon. Can't wait for Moon Knight, guys, and this is one piece of TV show hype that actually got the job done and has me hyped. If this one matches up to the quality of season 1 of The Punisher and Daredevil... eventually the MCU is just gonna dominate all realms of visual media, isn't it?
The best thing about all this? Moon Knight already launches on March 30. Yes. And here's a trailer to finish you off:
