Nier Automata is getting an anime adaption and every fan around the world is crying because they either love, or hate it.
Finally, we're not reporting on a simple leak (though that's what it was only a few weeks back), but about actual, factual news. It's true what you read in the title: Nier Automata is getting an anime TV series and there's even a first teaser trailer already!
It's not much, but it's an "okay, this is coming, we now have to prepare ourselves for it". What we can see clearly in the trailer is 2B and Pod 042 and that's at least something... I guess.
Turning games into TV shows or anime's – in this case – is no small feat, but we've seen time and time again that it can be pulled off, be it Arcane (that comes from League of Legends) or The Witcher (that comes from... well... The Witcher). Square Enix surely has the funds to make it on the list of "this TV show comes from a game and is great"... at least that's what I'm hoping for.
When Is The Nier Automata Anime Being Released?
Unfortunately, there is no release date for the Nier Automata anime yet. This 30 second teaser shows nothing and is merely there to tease us (duh), so we'd expect it to be quite some time before it releases.
