The new Lord of the Rings series will not be a new Game of Thrones, anyhow, when it comes to the Sex Scenes!
In the last few months we've seen the teaser and trailer for the new Amazon series Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. The excitement for the series is rising more and more. But will there be as much naked skin and sex in the series as in Game of Thrones and The Witcher?
Will There Be Sex In The Lord of the Rings Series?
Back in October 2020, there was a report from TheOneRing magazine that Amazon had allegedly hired intimacy coordinator, Jennifer Ward-Lealand for the filming of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power in New Zealand. Apparently, she was to ensure that there would be tasteful sex scenes in the Lord of the Rings series. After that, many fans were afraid (or hopeful?) that there would be a lot of naked flesh in the finished product.
Showrunner Denies Sex Rumors
In an interview with Vanity Fair magazine, showrunner Patrick McKay denied these rumors. According to him, there will be no sex scenes in The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. According to his statements, it will be a series for everyone, including children who are 12 or 13 years old. Although scary and frightening scenes are to be expected, there will not be an excessive amount of naked skin or even sexual acts.

We don't have to wait too long anymore, and we can finally see for ourselves. Surely it will be fantastic. I mean, it's Lord of the Rings, what could go wrong. Whether there is a lot of sex or no sex at all should not affect the series.
