"See" has graced Apple TV+ with three seasons thus far, but what lies ahead for the popular series? Executive producer Jonathan Tropper has spoken about the show's trajectory. So, is See season 4 on the horizon?
Jason Momoa first made waves with his iconic portrayal of Khal Drogo in Game of Thrones. It appears he has a knack for embodying wild warriors, as he demonstrates again in the Apple TV+ original series, See. Currently, the series boasts 3 seasons, but fans are eagerly hoping for more. Here's what we've gathered about See season 4 so far.
What is See all about? See takes place in a dystopian future, centuries after a virus nearly wiped out humanity, rendering the remaining population blind. The narrative centers on Baba Voss (Jason Momoa), a formidable warrior, in a realm where the concept of vision is a legend. Things quickly begin to change when Voss' adopted twins arrive with the ability to see (which is probably the reason for the title). The series masterfully delivers post-apocalyptic drama and combat, ingeniously integrating the use of sound to offset the characters' lack of sight. |
See Season 4: How Will The Post-Apocalyptic Show Continue?
The first season of See aired back in 2019 on Apple TV+ and introduced us to the show's world and characters. Especially the character of Baba Voss, played by Jason Momoa, helps to bring the world alive and quickly turned out to be the fan favorite.
For all of you hoping for another season of See, we're sorry to disappoint, but back in 2022 Apple TV+ revealed that the show will come to an end with season 3. It is therefore highly unlikely that we will be able to enjoy the show for a season 4.
Jonathan Tropper, the executive producer for the show, also commented on "what we think is a deeply satisfying conclusion to our story", referring to season 3.
Despite this, maybe we will get to see the world of See return in a different form, maybe a spin-off, or a sequel that focuses on a different cast and a different plot.
Hopefully they don't just recast Jason Momoa, sometimes actors are just too iconic to replace:
