Ever since the full game leaked, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Nintendo has been on the hunt for people profiting off of the leaked material. Now the popular content creator Alanah Pierce got banned on Twitch for "watching approved Zelda gameplay lmao".

Alanah Pierce works as a writer for Santa Monica Studios, but is also streaming on Twitch in the evenings and uploading content to YouTube. She does mostly Just Chatting content on Twitch and was able to amass 161,812 followers on the popular streaming platform.

Her other socials are even more impressive, with more than 600,000 followers on Instagram, as well as across her various YouTube channels.

Alanah Pierce Gets Suspended On Twitch For Watching Public Zelda Footage

Nintendo is pretty notorious for going hardcore on leakers, but it seems like this time they kinda messed up, when they DMCA'd Alanah Pierce for reacting to a Zelda preview video made by YouTube channel SkillUp.

The 28-year-old influencer got banned mid-stream, because Nintendo considered her stream to violate their copyright of the game. The thing is, Pierce was watching a video with gameplay footage that had been approved for releases by Nintendo themselves!

Nintendo might have been a little too on edge, because their whole game leaked online.
