Tears of the Kingdom is one of the most anticipated games of all time, and it looks like a bunch of folks could await its release on May 13. The entire game leaked online after physical copies were sold way too early, meaning that everyone and their mom already has hands on the game.

Zelda Tears of the Kingdom Leaked Online – Spoilers Are Everywhere

Physical copies being distributed too early happens all the time and Tears of the Kingdom is no exception here. Gamers went one step further though and put the whole game online, resulting in tons of people downloading torrents and emulating the game already. This obviously means that the entire game is being spoiled in real-time, as streams and videos are flooding all social media platforms.

If you need a refresher on Breath of the Wild's story, check this out:

No worries, I won’t spoil anything here. If you’re like me and are just too damn hyped for this game, you surely don’t want anything to be revealed. But be warned: the internet will be a minefield for the next two weeks. The entire opening of the game is already online, clips are all over Twitter, TikTok and so on.

Nintendo hasn't responded to the massive leak yet. Judging from some their most recent shenanigans though, like going after Discord to get to a leaker and killing off a popular BOTW mod, I imagine their reaction to this won't be too happy-go-lucky.

From what I have seen though, the game does look like it will be an absolute banger. Still, it’s always a huge shame when something like this happens and people get spoiled, potentially taking some of the excitement away. And if there’s one game to be excited for this year, it’s Tears of the Kingdom.

So, best to tread lightly on the internet for the next two weeks. Pre-order Tears of the Kingdom if you haven’t done so yet, mute everything you can on social media and go into hiding until May 12 when we can finally all enjoy the game.
