Over the course of 3 seasons The Witcher has solidified its status as a standout series on Netflix, and even with Henry Cavill's exit, the helm of the iconic White Wolf will be taken up by Liam Hemsworth.

Despite Cavill being the biggest name attached to the series (being in high regard for his love of the source material) he wasn't the only one giving it his all to make the show as good as can be. Both Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra recently revealed how they endured unbearable filming conditions to record some scenes for The Witcher season 3.

Freya Allan & Anya Chalotra Open Up About Horrible Filming Conditions For The Witcher Season 3

Some actors really push their limits while filming, and in this case we're not talking about Henry Cavill, who dehydrated for 3 days to get his physique ready for the bathtub scene in The Witcher.

In an interview with The Digital Fix, Freya Allan and Anya Chalotra talked about The Witcher season 3, when they revealed that they really gave it their all while filming, pushing their limits until they were bawling their eyes out.

In the beginning of The Witcher season 3, we join our favorite trio, Geralt, Ciri and Yennefer in a frosty landscape in the wilderness. Turns out, the scenery didn't just look cold!

During the interview, Anya Chalotra opened up about her experience shooting that scene, emphasizing how the very first scene of the show might have just been the hardest to film.

And yeah, it was cold. We were in Slovenia shooting. It was very cold, and on the second day of shooting I remember bawling my eyes out because I couldn’t feel my feet, so that was when my journey began this season

Anya wasn't alone in her struggle, though, as Freya Allan chimed in, explaining how she was struggling with the difficult filming conditions as well!

I remember bawling my eyes out too because I was like, ‘This is just too much!’

Looking at this level of commitment from the cast, you definitely feel more comfortable looking forward to season 4 of the show. We will have to wait and see, but besides the cast, there are some other major problems they will have to deal with going forward.
