The FIFA 23 Ratings are live, and we will have a look at the two most famous teams outside of Europe, Boca Juniors and River Plate. These two Argentinian clubs have the biggest rivalry in the world. But how are they rated in FIFA 23?
EA Sports and Microsoft originally released FIFA 23 for the Xbox on 30 August 2022, a month before the actual release. EA Play members were already able to play the new FIFA, while the online modes were quickly taken down, the deed had been done and all the ratings were leaked.
It is not known whether EA will change the overall ratings again. But we assume that the ratings we got a hold of are final. It would be strange if all of them are changed now, after all EA thinks about the stats and can't just re-evaluate all superstars of football.
Here are the top 100 players in FIFA 23, but we can already say that we won’t find Boca or River players on this list...
Boca Juniors And River Plate FIFA 23 Ratings
Anyone who has ever been to Buenos Aires and taken in the atmosphere in the city, as well as seen the stadiums of the clubs CA Boca Junios and CA River Plate knows just how big the role of these clubs are in their respective neighbourhoods. The Argentine fans are completely fanatical and always give everything for their team. Sometimes this even goes so far that violence gets out of hand – something we don't want to see, obviously. Boca Juniors is supported by the poorer population in Buenos Aires, while River Plate's supporters tend to come from the upper classes.
In the past the Argentine league, respectively the Argentine federation had its difficulties with EA Sports. There were years when some clubs, among them Boca Juniors and River Plate, didn't have a licence for FIFA. But this has changed now, finally the venerable La Bombonera is back in FIFA 23, let's go!

Boca Juniors do have some upgrades when compared to FIFA 22. You should definitely watch the career of 20-year-old Exequiel Zeballos, who will move to Europe in one or two years if he continues to perform as he has in recent times. The upgrade of +10 speaks for itself. Boca will get either 3.5 or 4 stars, which is a decent rating for a team from South America.

What is true for Bocas Zeballos is certainly true for Santiago Simón. He is also only 20 years old... it seems like the Argentines will again produce some good talents. There are also more upgrades than downgrades at River, which looks really good. All in all, the two Argentinean top clubs are evenly rated, so if you want to replay the Superclásico in FIFA 23, it should be really exciting.
