In EA FC 24 Ultimate Team, just as in previous editions, Chemistry Styles are used to permanently enhance specific attributes of your players, squeezing out every last bit of their performance. We provide a guide to keep you informed about which Chemistry Styles are the best in EA FC 24, as every year brings its share of useless items – and absolute game-changers.

EA FC 24: How Chemistry Styles Work

Chemistry Styles are designed to give your players a boost in several areas in Ultimate Team. Each Chemistry Style can enhance at least two, and at most three, stats. What does this mean for you? For example, someone like Lionel Messi lost some pace this year. With the Hunter Chemistry Style, which is the most popular for strikers, he becomes a different beast. It's important to remember one thing here: Chemistry boosts that enhance only two stats increase them more than those that enhance three.

The Best Chemistry Styles in FC 24 Ultimate Team

We need pace! Almost every position benefits from having fast players. What good is a great pass or strong tackle if you can't even get into position to execute them?

As usual, Chemistry Styles like Hunter, Shadow and Hawk are very popular. You can find other styles that boost pace listed below.

But also pay attention to what your player needs and which stats are important for their position. Generally, the rule is:

  • Upfront, you want explosive players with great acceleration and finishing.
  • In the back, you want players who are fast and win all their tackles.
  • And your midfielders should ideally be able to do everything.

You'll quickly realize that the "best" Chemistry Style is quite relative. Put yourself in the player's shoes and consider: What else would be important for you to be able to do at this position.

Chemistry Styles and Team Chemistry

Always make sure your players are at full chemistry. This is not only important for overall gameplay flow, but also to get the most out of the applied Chemistry Styles.

For substitutes, the items are less beneficial.

Chemistry Styles: Positions and Boosts

In theory, you can apply any Chemistry Style to your players – except for goalkeepers, who have their own unique chemistry items. If you want to experiment, feel free to do so, but in EA FC there are again Chemistry Styles and players that fit together as well as Christian Streich and SC Freiburg.

A complete list of all Chemistry Styles and the stats they permanently enhance can be found here:
