Skills are always part of the absolute meta in FIFA and EA FC. The gameplay trailer showed five new skills that will absolutely shave.
There are players who love to perform skill moves. And there are players (including at EarlyGame) who absolutely hate it when they get destroyed in-game by skill moves. I definitely belong to the group of skillers who know and can execute every skill move by heart.
The new moves shown in the EA FC 24 gameplay trailer look absolutely insane. The animations are smooth, and the new Hypermotion V technology contributes to that.
EA FC 24 Trailer Showcases New Skill Moves
Good skill moves completely change the gameplay because they make the attacking player unpredictable. Some skills are so overpowered that you can't defend against them even if you know what the opponent is planning.
The 5-star skillers will once again become very expensive in Ultimate Team. Vinicius Jr., for sure, will be among them and he presented two of the five new skills in the trailer.

EA FC 24 Has At Least 5 New Skill Moves
The first skill move is performed by Borussia Dortmund's Youssoufa Moukoko. Moukoko has 4-star skill moves, so we assume that the new skill requires a 4-star skiller like Moukoko.
Moukoko dribbles with the ball, then he performs an inside ball roll with his right foot, followed by a drag-back with his left foot. The animation takes a comparatively long time but could have a similar effect to the Ball Roll Scoop, which was one of the best skill moves in FIFA 23.
For the second skill move, you will definitely need a 5-star skiller. This trick won't really be effective but rather serves to humiliate the opponent. After that, you have to use the new Shushhh celebration (as shown in the featured image).
In the trailer, Vinicius Jr. flicks the ball up like in a Rainbow Flick but in the motion, he kicks the ball, causing it to jump over the opponent. It looks fantastic, but in the end, it's a bit of useless artistry.
The third skill move is a first-touch move that you should perform when you want to quickly escape from opponent pressure. The player (we couldn't exactly identify who it was) steps on the ball, feigns a movement to the left with the body, only to then take the ball to the right. This skill probably only works during ball receptions. It probably requires a 3-star skiller.
New OP Skill Move In EA FC 24: The Advanced Elastico
The fourth skill move will be by far the most effective one. It's an extension of the Elastico to the outside, with Vini going through two defenders. The trick becomes particularly useful when the opponent calls for a second defender to double-team by pressing R1.
Here too, you need a 5-star skiller to perform this move.
The last new skill move is a brutal nutmeg. Here, it's all about embarrassing the opponent. Whether you need a 2-star or 3-star skiller for it remains to be seen.
