As this is a Showdown SBC, both cards are eligible for further stat increases with whatever side winning seeing their playing get a +2 boost to their already boosted stats. That means Goldson or da Costa could be 92-rated by the end of the season. Not bad for a player from Scotland's second-best team and a mid-table German side.

Both players firmly sit within the FIFA 22 meta with great physicality and pace stats, however, if you were to do only one of these SBCs, we'd suggest Frankfurt's da Costa. His stats are better, and they are favorites heading into the final, meaning you are most likely to see him upgraded. There are also plenty of other meta central defenders with RWB being a rarer breed.
