Team 1, Team 2, new promo... that's the event cycle in FIFA 22 in short. Despite the many promos, some stars still haven't gotten a Special Card.

Special Card Ederson — Ederson

Well, it's not that easy being Ederson: Manchester City usually play in such a dominant manner that the goalkeeper can't really shine **on his own or earn himself a spot in the next TOTW**. Maybe he'll be part of the Premier League Team of the Season? However, the competition is pretty tough here as well.... | © EA Sports / EarlyGame

Special Card Rodri — Rodri

We assume that Rodri will get at least one special card in FIFA 22. After all, the Spaniard plays for arguably the strongest club in the Premier League and could definitely use a proper upgrade because of his pace. | © EA Sports / EarlyGame

Special Card Cavani — Edinson Cavani

Edinson Cavani is simply an awesome striker and in our humble opinion extremely underrated. He hasn't played a major role at Manchester United so far this season, so it's naturally a bit more difficult for him to receive some Special Cards. | © EA Sports / EarlyGame

No Special Card Mendy — Ferland Mendy

How crazy is it that Ferland Mendy – **THE meta left-back of FIFA 21** – hasn't gotten a single special card in FUT this year? It's only a matter of time until EA Sports will feature him in a promo... and we have to update this gallery again. Great. Just... awesome. | © EA Sports / EarlyGame

Special Card Maguire — Harry Maguire

Okay, okay... Harry Maguire isn't exactly the definition of a “badass” player, but as time (and FIFA-events) go on, it's getting more and more difficult to find players without a single Special Card.

In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, a new promo is launched almost every week. You can check our FUT-calendar to see which event is currently running... and since it's almost February by now, many of the top stars must have already gotten one or the other special card, right? Right.

But there are some very talented footballers who haven't received any love or attention from EA in FIFA 22 yet. Whether it's Headliners, Winter Wildcards or Adidas Numbers Up, these players have not been featured in a single promo.

By the way, we could have cheated... Players like Jadon Sancho, for example, only have an OTW from the beginning of the season. But since that is also a Special Card, we left him out.

[UPDATE] So... it's been a sad week for all FIFA fans. Presnel Kimpembe and others finally got their first Special Card in FIFA 22. Time to update this gallery!
