Kylian Mbappé is the king in FIFA 22's career mode once more. No player has as much potential as the Frenchman.You should definitely keep in mind that in FIFA 22, there is dynamic potential again. This means that if you consistently train a player with an A ranking and let him play a lot (and have him play well), he can even exceed his actual potential. So, for example, you can push a player who actually only has 85 potential even further towards 90 if you train him properly.In our list, you can see young mega talents that cost a lot right from the start. But we also have cheap and inexpensive talents on offer, which you can also get with a 2nd or 3rd league club.Our list includes players who fulfill the following aspects:

• The player must not be older than 22 years
• The player must have potential 85 or more
• The player must improve by at least five points (unless he reaches a rating of 86+)

We update this article regularly, so you always know who the current top talents are. Sometimes players and their potential is getting decreased after release. But they won't fly off the list unless they get grossly worse than 85. The players are sorted according to their main position. For example Musiala can be found at the wingers (because he is LM main), although he can also play as CAM.

FIFA 22: The Best Goalkeeper Talents (GK)

It's no wonder that Gianluigi Donnarumma tops the Goalkeeper list. He is so outstanding, played already like 1000 matches despite his young age. Well-deserved first place.

The Paris Saint-Germain GK is simply incredible and rightly the best goalkeeper talent in FIFA 22. At 22, he's barely made it on the list. However, thanks to dynamic change, his potential can burst any limit. If you already have a solid goalkeeper, we recommend Maarten Vandevoordt. You can get the Belgian relatively cheaply, he develops very quickly and with a height of 1.90m, he also saves those longshots. Gavin Bazunu has been loaned out by ManCity – but in the second season he can be bought quite cheaply.

FIFA 22: The Best Full Back and Wing Back Talents (RB, RWB, LB, LWB)

As a meta full back, no one can match Alphonso Davies. The speedster from FC Bayern Munich not only comes with 96 pace, but also has a safe potential of 89 OVR. The most talented full back is of course Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold. With 90 potential, he clearly tops the list.

For those on a tight budget, we recommend Luca Netz. The young German talent jumps from 71 to 85. At least!

FIFA 22: The Best Centre Back Talents (CB)

Matthijs de Ligt has lost his 90 Potential over the season but is still the best talent. Maxence Lacroix can also be recommended, of course, because the Wolfsburg player comes with 91 pace!

For the very small budget, we have Bruges' Noah Mbamba new on our list. His potential is 88, but with the right coach (you), he will certainly improve even more. At the age of 16, he also has enough time to develop into a great player.

If you have less money available, you should look out for Gavi, Lavia, Patino or Dwomoh in the list.

Real Madrids Vinicius Jr.and Citys Phil Foden are the best winger talents in FIFA 22! Ansu Fati and Mason Greenwood go from under 80 to 90. And we are sure: Jamal Musiala will be bought and played with a lot in FIFA 22's career mode.You can make a nice profit with Kayky from ManCity. He is really cheap, with a market value of 2.7 million - and he can develop from a 66 talent to an 87 superstar. Nice talent for the wings!

In case you're wondering where Mason Greenwood is, he was removed from FIFA by EA. Rightly so.

FIFA 22: The Best Striker Talents (ST, CF, LS, RS)

Mr. Coverboy is of course also the biggest forward talent in FIFA 22: Kylian Mbappé is simply the high-flyer par excellence. Sure, Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi bring a certain flair and help most teams immediately. But talents and youth players - also thanks to dynamic potential - can become even better than the two world footballers after just a few in-game years.In Ultimate Team, you rarely use talents, simply because the cards don't evolve. But in career mode, you can turn bronze or silver players into gold. At least, if you develop them optimally, and they reach their full potential.In short, talent is worthwhile if you plan to be on the sidelines of your team for more than a year or two. After all, a good manager invests in the future. With our list of top talents, you'll be perfectly equipped for the future.

FIFA 22: How To Develop Your Talents And Increase The Potential

In order for your young professionals to reach their full potential, you need to train them. You can do this by training them regularly. Once a week, you can have up to three training sessions. However, make sure you don't just click on "yeah yeah, blah blah, just train". You need to do the pre-season workouts yourself.Just look at the best drills for player positions and keep completing them until you reach an A ranking. Shouldn't be too hard - and you might even learn the controls a little better in the process. Most of the time, though, the training is a chore. But it has to be done, if you want to promote the talents.Additionally, you influence the potential by not letting the young talents rot on your bench or in the reserves. Make sure that your young players get playtime on a regular basis. But it's also worth mentioning that it's less useful for you to get bad grades with your young stars than good ones. So play with extra concentration when you have a lot of talent on the pitch. Good grades at the end of the game increase the potential in the long run.

To sign really nice youth players, you have to invest some of your transfer budget in scouts. Scouting in FIFA 22 is, just like in the last years, the key to sign youth players with a lot of potential.Unfortunately, as mentioned before, you'll have to spend some of your budget here. The top scouts cost between 3 and 4 million euros in the career mode - especially if you start in a lower league, this can cost you your annual budget.In the end, you'll have to work out for yourself whether you'd rather sign one or two of the above-mentioned talents and let them take off – or rather rely on scouts, who will get you good youth players.
