FIFA 22 TOTY: Final XI, 12th Man And Honourable Mentions

The best Cards in FIFA 22 are out now. Well, at least until the summer promotions. But some TOTY cards have meta-power for the whole year thanks to their outstanding stats.

NOW TOTY is in FUT packs and we show you who is in the Final XI.

Just a gentle reminder, because TOTY time can be pretty dangerous: Dont spend money on FIFA Points. It's not worth it.

FIFA 22: What is Team of the Year?

Team of the Year (TOTY) is a squad of the best players of the past year in FIFA Ultimate Team. So just like the Ballon d'Or XI, a selection of a goalkeeper, defenders, midfielders and attackers is put together.

And the best thing: The players receive extremely strong ratings and will enrich almost every team in FUT and make them the true Ultimate Team. Expect ratings in the 94+ range!Very best thing: The community was able to vote! Even if EA probably had their saying in the final choice.

FIFA 22 TOTY Vote

The vote began on Monday, January 10, 2022 and was available until January 18, 2022.In EA SPORTS FIFA's Team of the Year, fans can support their favorites, cast their votes for their favorite players and put togetherthe ultimate starting XI from the 80 nominees who performed the best in the world of football in 2021.You can find a list of all nominees for each position further below. But now – IT IS TOTY TIME!

When is TOTY Release in FUT?

TOTY started on January 21st 6:00 pm in FIFA 22. Since January 23rd the Midfielders could be pulled out of packs. Defenders and Goalkeeper came on January 25 and the complete Team of the Year can be packed since January 27, 6:00 pm.

The 12th Man and the Honourable Mentions arrived in FUT on January 28. This means that the Team of the Year in FIFA 22 is now complete! Probably there won't be any other players before the upcoming event next week.

TOTY FIFA 22: Cristiano Ronaldo is the 12th Man

Of course, Fut Sheriff could be trusted again with this leak - Cristiano Ronaldo prevailed in the selection of the 12th man against Mohamed Salah and Karim Benzema and is also part of the Team of the Year.

That was kind of obvious, wasn't it? Not only does he have a huge fan base, but he's also one of the most popular cards in FIFA. Of course, that's because of his stats, so check them out!

TOTY Honourable Mentions – With Salah & Benzema – Dani Olmo via SBC

What we found odd is the number of honorable mentions... there were only six in FIFA 21... and now there are almost three times as many. Crazy. And surprisingly, Dani Olmo came as SBC on February 2nd! Nothing against him, great player and in 2021 he performed really well for a long time. But then he was injured like forever... It's very random that he also gets a TOTY card...

FIFA 22 TOTY: Attacker Nominees

These were all the nominees for the FIFA 22 TOTY. There were a few strange decisions, but overall those were the best players in the 2021 calendar year. We're looking forward to the TOTY spectacle and of course we wish you lots of luck.You will need it!
